Hey has been stellar so far, that's for sure. Icer is definitely right though, 95-96 Osgood was downright amazing more often than not. The only thing that worries me, is if Osgood stays hot and ends up being number 1 ( and I know, I know, that's a stretch ), but if that does happen, does hasek revert back to prima donna mode and go sulk in a corner? Possibly becoming a locker room cancer??

Okay seriously, YOU sound like the one who is new to the sport, how long have you been watching hockey? This team absolutely could use a power forward, but saying we have no chance to win the cup as is , is lunacy. How long long have you been watching hockey by the way ? the last 8-9 years since you were in Kindergarten?

Nahh, nothing wrong with that opinion, of course it would be cool to see 80's style wide-open hockey. But you do have to admit, that #1 line is DAMN IMPRESSIVE! And Rafalski has fit in even better than I thought he would...

I hope Zetterberg stays healthy so he can blast his way past the 100 point mark. I guess my big question is when Hasek comes back, IF he struggles, what the hell is Babcock gonna do? Because I'm sorry right now Ozzie is far superior, he hasn't played this well since the 97-98 season. (IMO)

I think just like Stevie, Lids has every intention of retiring with the Wings being his only team, I don't think his salary will drop to 6.5 though, I totally expect him to sign for 7 a year, MAYBE 7.5......... and if he signs a 3 year extension, 21 million is a HUGE deal at his age.....

This is good to see, I am by no means a Hawks fan, but I AM a hockey fan, and now that fans can see home games, and with the Hawks playing pretty decent hockey right now, all signs seem to point to a resurgence of a once proud O6 team.
