I think Eriksson got picked a bit late, would definitaly pick him before Backes/Elias.. I would prob pick Stastny before backes/elias too. Lidstrom won the draft for sure imo, but I was not expecting anything else from Lids

Forsberg has never retired, he wants to play. He goes through alot with surgeries and rehab every year just to be able to play hockey again. What exactly is wrong with? The guy loves to play hockey and believes that he still have what it takes to play in the big league. Why wouldnt he follow his love and passion to make it happen? Who are you to tell him to stop pursuing his dream of playing in the nhl again? It's not his fault that media makes a circus of it.

Perry is the nhl-player I dislike the most. He is up there with Pronger. At least I have some respect for Pronger (Can't deny his playoffs success) ANyway I wish I could vote for one of them.. I also dislike Thornton. Just a personal thing. I've seen some interviews with him in the playoffs when one of his many stacked teams were close to be eliminated and he didnt seem to care. His attitude in those interviews ticked me off. Add to that his sloppy low-energic play and anti-clutchiness. I hate quitters in a competitive environment.. f*** off!

Hm WTF. Well it Is Aftonbladet, a paper known for "twisting" the news. Altho, this is direct quotes from Larsson and it's pretty spot on what mindfly posted. Aftonbladet dont make up quotes, they put them out of context ALOT, but they dont blindly make them up. I don't like this at all. Maybe Larsson was pumped up as hell when he made those quotes. Testosteron you know? I can't believe he said that. If he wants a starting job in the nhl so bad, why say that? He should understand that quotes like those will hurt his chances, especially with a club like red wings. Is he dumb? wtf.. BIG mistake on his part Btw, when talking to the swedish media, players are not as uptight as they are in NA, they are much more free spoken. That has probably something to do with it. NHL is not very big in Sweden, SEL is much bigger. Maybe Larsson would think it would go unnoticed or something. bleh

I've been waiting for SOO long for magnus paajarvi to age and get to the nhl. I've seen him play since he was 16 and from the first time I watched him play I knew he was a special player. He was disgusting at such a young age. I'm really excited to see him play in the nhl.. Some info about him and his career so far: He has the most points ever by a swede playing J16 team sweden hockey (18). As a 16 year old, playing in the J18 tournament "Memorial of Ivan Hlinka" in 2007 he won the scoring race and also led team sweden to a tournament victory. In 2007 he became one of the youngest players ever to play in SEL (16 years old). In 2007 he became the youngest swedish player ever to play in the worlds junior hockey championship, still at age 16 (he scored in his first game:P). Sweden lost against Canada in the finals. In 2008 he had 7 points in 6 games for sweden in worlds junior. Once again a Swedish loss against Canada in the finals. In 2009 he had 10 points in 6 games for sweden in worlds junior. Bronze this year. 2010 he debuted in Tre kronor and in his first game got the GWG with a "foppa"-shootout goal. 2010 world hockey championship in germany he had 9 poitns in 9games (3rd overall in the tournament). Won +- race and was voted on to the tournament all-star team. 2011 calder trophy as the nhl's best rookie ? ;D
