im watching via sopcast. thought everyone knew how to get it going it's been explained so many times anyway here's the link http://myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=7411∂=sports let it buffer then open VLC player - "open network stream" type in http://127.0.0.1:8902 and voila edit: let me be a bit more detailed for those of you who can't watch it on sopcast it's probably because you didn't open the stream in vlc player. soome streams requires that. you need to first let it buffer in sopcast then open vlc player and go to File - Open network stream - type in http://127.0.0.1:8902

from "crashing the net" - nhl.com Norris Trophy -- Yes, Nicklas Lidstrom will likely miss three weeks of the season with the knee injury that currently has him sidelined, but the Swede is so far ahead of everyone else that the absence won't even hurt him. Lidstrom has won five of the past six Norris Trophy awards for a reason. Simply, there is no one better. Just go look at the numbers. Nobody will take this award away from Lidstrom. It's a lock. But Boston's Zdeno Chara and Calgary's Dion Phaneuf deserve some consideration. Chara is having quite the bounce-back season, and Phaneuf continues to lay claim as the best physical defenseman playing the game today. http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app/?service=page&a...rticleid=355288

Injuries suck and I feel bad anytime a player is put on the IR slot. Not sure how bad smyth's injury is but to me it seems like he'll miss at least half of the games left in this season. Also Svatos tore up his knee in the same game. Never fun with injuries Look at what all the wing's injuries has done with the team. It's not good for the fans nor the nhl. Noone should wish for injuries to players and teams. So many elite players have been hurt this season - It's not good I tell ya. I know there are alot of injury-wishing people on this board tho (more than on any board I have ever visit) and it makes me sick. Just skim through a forsberg or anaheim thread and you'll know what I mean (not saying you are one of those)

clean hit bad luck horrible for the avs! he just got back from an injury avs has been very unlucky with injuries this season. gotta feel for them

O.o didn't read the whole thing. Stupid post along with a very boring format.. No thanks (Yes I'm a contributor)

I don't think stanley cup means "very little" to hockeyplayers here in europe. They grow up watching nhl and se their idols winning. Almost every hockeyplayer dream about playing in the nhl and hoist the cup - Maybe more so in NA but I would'nt discount european players passion and ambition for the cup World cup in soccer happens only once every fourth year. It's the biggest thing for a soccer player - bigger than champions league so that was an bad example Agree on everything else you said

I don't get it. You really think he was playing teams against each other? Why do you think that? When & where has he said that he wasn't coming back? Or do you mean when his agent said it was unlikely with a return? I'm not sure what he has done wrong. Care to enlighten me? Most of what I've read from people bashing on him on message boards is just BS and based from speculations.. And of course lots of homer biased hatred In my viewpoint it's posters and media and speculations who has been stirring things up regarding forsberg. You think I'm crazy? o.o
-
who are they? forsbergs agent said it was unlikely for him to return to the nhl. noone said he wasn't coming back for sure - just speculations
-
with the return of sakic smyth and stastny and now forsberg i think the avs can really turn their season around this is imo great for the avs and for the league good luck forsberg

Olli jokinen has never played in the playoffs. Not a single game in his entire carreer

41 pages!? Anyone feel to do a quick summary of what has been discussed in this thread? 41 pages of Hossa trade speculations seems a bit too much. (?)

Nylander played 40 games in which he had 11 goals and 26 assists (37 points). Pretty good if you consider the caps and backstrom had a very slow start. (backstrom's first time playing in usa and the nhl - ofc he had a slow start - also nylander's first time playing with the caps - takes some time to get to know how the players play and get some chemistry going right?). Anyway yes I'm a Nylander fan and yes I try to defend him Regarding Backstrom: I think he'll be a 90 point player if he stays with the caps and AO. I also think he's going to be one of the top best feeders in the nhl within a couple of years edit: sorry i just realized this was totally of topic i think AO will hit 59-64 goals this season and i think you are wrong when you say he plays on a terrible team
