No way near Vancouver fans from my experiences. I hate nuck fans. When I started following NHL I was actually most interested in Vancouver due to Naslund (one of my fav players at the time). But having no friends to talk nhl with etc, I tried to join nuck message boards to be more involved in discussions. But the fans on their boards were way too much for me to handle. They are trash. The fans almost singlehandedly made me drive away from the nucks. Thats were I started to watch red wings hockey hardcore and from the first time I joined a wings board I was impressed in the quality of the discussions and the knowledge of the fanbase. Never looked back from there and they've brought me great memories

it's the playoffs baby! the best hockey all year. i try to watch as many games i can, wings or not. its entertaining and i love hockey. i will not quit watching if the wings lose. I might take a couple of days break, just to avoid all the pictures/videos of the wing loss (i hate that) but when the dust has settled i will continue watching other series

I wouldnt be surprised to see all 8 matchups tied at 2-2 later this week. Hoping to see Caps and Nucks to win tonight. Don't really care about sabres/bruins. Gonna watch both nuck and cap game

I've noticed a trend here on LGW that alot of people only see black or white. If you are pro something , or argue for something you get ridicoulous generalations from them who argue against the same thing. It's hard for me to express myself because my vocabulary is thin but maybe you understand what I mean? Example, "I think Crosby is the best playmaker in the league; >argument<" , Then some people just answer with a "Yeah Crosby is jesus god and is here to save mankind " instead of actually adress the argument in a civil matter. And then the counterpart counter in the same way and the discussion is ruined. I hate that. People who are pro something goes too far on the pro side while people on the con side goes too far on that side. I wish people had more perspective and self distance. Not saying im innocent in that matter but i think it's a bit of an issue here. Agree or disagree?

What a start indeed. All 7 opening games have been decided by 1 goal. All games I've seen have been very exciting. Hope it continues

Nuck Kings game is intense, everyone is battling for their lives Samuelsson is playing great. Going into OT now.. shots are 39 VAN 21 LAK. Quick has been brilliant. Edler has had huge hits through out the game. Don't you just love playoff hockey

I guess you haven't watched much of the biggest and most popular sport in the world, soccer. They don't review goals. They don't review ANYTHING. They don't stop time during game except half time break. Do you have any idea how many huge important games have been decided by a bad call/missed call from the referee? A missed off side call? A wrongly made off side call? They can't review it so the decision stands directly after it's been made. So hockey is hardly the worst sport in that aspect.. I think you guys overreact. I agree that the calling on penalties are pretty inconsistent but imo it's not such a huge deal you ought it to be. I think it evens out pretty good. Hockey is such a fast paced game with lots of pysichal contact. The refs will miss penalties, they will make bad penalties, they will forever. Btw, I can't think of any other sport which have so thoroughly reviews of questionable goals. How many goals are scored every year and how many goals are wrongly ruled as a goal? (I'm thinking about goals like the one May scored earlier in the season but was ruled as a no goal). It rarely happens.. Just because they have so good reviews. Cameras from every ******* angle. (I'm not talking about goals scored due to a wrongly made penalty). Just wanted to point out that the goal reviews are very accurate so that's a bright spot don't you agree? Thoughts?

Halak was great but I also think you should give credit to the defense. Hall gill denied ovechkin. He didnt get 1 shot on goal. They were blocking and deflecting everything. montreal defense is kinda scary. impressed by them. can't believe ovechkin had 0 SOG. only time that happened in the regular season was against detroit watching kings - canucks now. it's 4:20 am over here so i'm hoping for a great game >_<

That was awesome, well done Their chemistry was amazing and I'm happy I got to see them play together. Kinda makes me sad that we might not see them play together like that in the future. Still, this thread delivers! I had loads of fun browsing through this thread. And I think it's safe to say that in time, yotes fans will come here and they will not just come here, they will put up a great battle. The fans who have stayed with the phoenix coyotes through all their fiascos and suckiness got more dignity than to let one of the biggest wings fan site to walk all over them and humiliate them in a photoshop war when they after all these years finally got a well respected team. They should be here soon!

In my opinion it's between Sedin and Crosby. Leaning towards Crosby due to lesser skilled line mates. Ovechkin won't win it because of his high powered team and superstar line mates. Also missed some games due to injuries and suspensions which won't help him.
