I like the rangers. I don't believe they deserve to be in the playoffs this year but I want them in there anyway just because I want to see Lundqvist put on a show. Gaborik is fun to watch. edit: spelling

well, look at the alternatives. every one of those teams have players thay noone really wants to mess with a young skilled hawks with kane, toews, keith, hossa? a top heavy sharks with marleu, thornton, heatley? a deep (great role/key players) vancouver with top point producer sedin(s) plus luongo in goal? can't really blame people for picking phoenix. not saying it will be easier with phoenix. personally i would pick phoenix or sharks.. can't really decide :/. in the long run we have to beat the best anyway so maybe it doesent really matter who we get in the first round edit: i voted the sharks just because a series vs the phoenix doesent make me excited at all

can someone explain to me why everyone hate bettman so much? i don't really have a strong opinion of him. as a fan of the nhl maybe i should know better but i have never really understood the hatred against bettman. what has he done/is he doing that is so horrible? to be honest im not well familiarized with what he is doing and what he has done for the league it has to be a butt load of work to have his job.

great gdt as usual hockeytown just a question, what ever happened to aflac and his GDT's? the blues has been a big dissapointment all season. after last years playoffs i never could have thought that they would miss the playoffs this year.. alex steen is a bright spot as of late, he really seems to have find his spark. i wish berglund got more ice time and more confidence from the coach tho, he was such a promising prospect and i thought he would have made a bigger bang at this point. but he seems to get very little ice time and no real oppurtunity to make an impact , i dunno BTW, is it just me or are the two opening games vs the blues in stockholm still in your mind from time to time? it just left a bad taste which wont go away..

It just feels so wrong that these two teams have to face eachother already. I want russia to win, but I dont want Babcock and Yzerman to get crusified in Canada either, which they will be if they lose. Its kinda like a lose/lose situation for me.
