I live in California now and don't have the luxury of going to the games like I used to years ago. The crowd at the Joe is pathetic. It's like a morgue in that place. It's like people forget that the players feed off the energy of the crowd. Spoiled I guess. Used to winning all the time. They cheer when the Wings score and if we make a big hit now and then. But for the most part it's pretty quiet. Watch the crowd at The Staples Center tonight. And for that matter, watch the crowd in Phoenix next game. I, partly, blame the fans at the Joe.

WRONG! The Ducks were, by far, the best team we faced in the playoffs.

Yeah. Congrats on taking 7 games to beat a pretty much banged up Red Wings team. I didn't even realize how hurt most of our guys were. You don't beat a healthy Wings squad. Honestly. The play of the Pens was not that impressive. Enjoy the cup anyway.

It doesn't mean a thing without the ring. Coming in 2nd is the first loser. I still can't believe we lost game 7 on home ice. It's just all very sad. It shouldn't have ended the way it did.

Not surprised you're back spouting off again. You are the same guy that came in here earlier whining about the lucky bounces Detroit gets off the boards, etc... If you didn't notice there are boards behind both goals at the Joe. So don't come in here jumping on someone else because they bring up a few bad calls. I hate the whining and complaining more than anyone about the missed calls. They go both ways. On another note. You are welcome to come here and post. But why? I've hardly had time to post on this board as a Wings fan. I, for the life of me, can't see any reason why I would post on another teams board. I know, I know. Would you not agree that 2 of Detroit's goals last night were rather soft? Would you not agree that there are lucky bounces in every sport? The lucky bounce off the rim and the shot goes in? The baseball hitting the top of the wall and bouncing over for a homerun? The lucky bounce off the receivers hands and it falls right into the hands of the defender and he runs it back for a TD? Why do you even bring up the nature of the goal? Who cares?! A goal is a goal. Just like one of the announcers said last night; "Detroit's hard work creates the lucky chances." Leave all the "lucky", "soft", etc... talk alone.

That comment is so old. Some girl on the NHL network mentioned how it's the "veteran" team against the "young" team. Look at all the young talent on this team. You gotta come with some better post than that.

Fans do this of every team of every sport. Kind of a meaningless post. Players play good, they love them. They play bad, they hate them. Vancouver over Pittsburgh? Possible I guess. But I doubt it.
