Not excuses just FACTS--if Hasek slid into the net on his own momentum then that was a goal, BUT, you can clearly see he was laying flat on the ice and not moving backwards until the Ducks player pushed into his feet causing Hasek to go into the net with the puck on top of him. That should be NO GOAL--You CANNOT push a goalie into the net with the puck and get credit for a goal--thats an NHL Rule!!

Barry Melrose picked the flames over the Wings in the 1st round, then he picked the Sharks over the Wings in the 2nd round, now he is picking the Ducks over the Wings in the 3rd...do you see a pattern??

Wings need to give more ice time to Hudler, Franzen, Fillpula and they need to rest Lidstrom and Chelios by reducing their ice time in the 3rd simply because they need to be fresher than Calgary's defense for tomorrows game

BUT! in case you didnt look at the scheduling very closley Games 3 & 4, in Calgary, will be the 2nd game of a VS doubleheader!! which means I and everone else, could get screwed seeing the game if the 1st game being shown (Pit vs Ott) goes into a long OT--this is BULLs*** SCHEDULING by the NHL!! I said this last year--Lebda is alot like a 2nd Paul Coffey with his speed and puck rushing skills up the ice! the only diff right now in the 2 is that Lebda isnt pinching up the ice all the time like Coffey used too! OMG-2 free agents doesnt BUY a cup!! did you even read all the players on the list above??? 02- Wings want to resign M.Lapointe but Boston signs him--OUTBIDDING Detroit, for $5 mil per year! so the Wings look to fill the void, they want J.Roenick from Phoenix and offer him 8.5 mil BUT Philadelphia OUTBIDS Detroit and signs him for $11 mil per year! so the Wings look for other free agents and sign Hull $4.5 mil and Robitaille 4 mill. so its not like the Wings are signing all the top free agents all the time--those 2 were 2nd option signings at the end of their careers!
