NEWSFLASH!! NEWSFLASH!!! Announcement from Major League Baseball!!! The Commish of MLB has announced that since baseball games take so long to play and the ware and tear on the pitchers to be so great, that MLB has decided if a game is tied after 9 innings of play, they will play 1 additional inning, if the game is still tied after the 10th inning, they will decide the winner by means of the HOME RUN DERBY! Commish Selig said that a recent survey of Soccer Moms showed they prefer Home Run Derby's to decide games than actually playing the game itself!!

Here is a rule change they need to make for these stupid shootouts... Teams get as many shootout shots as they had in the 5 min OT..that would cut down on the BS playing for the shootout strategy!! and another point..if they played 10 min OT its a good bet we would have won..Dallas wasnt even trying to attack in OT and we fired 7 shots to their 0. It would be alot harder to rag out 10 min OT than the current 5.

this game is a good example of why shootouts are totally stupid!!! Dallas never attacked 1 time in the 5 min OT--even their own announcers said they look like they were playing for the shootout!! Not 1 shot on goal in OT and they are rewarded with automatic , uncontested, scoring chances in a shootout--THATS LAME!!!

The point of my post is that if you actually watched the game you could see Nashville standing 3-4 guys accross the blue line forcing us to dump it in--THEY dictaded the style of the game--we decided to dump it in rather than force it through defenders risking turnovers!

I mean, come on, who else can score twice and then trap for the rest of the game? They've gone with the wonderful strategy of DUMP AND NOT CHASE.
