I don't agree with him giving Hasek a B and Osgood an A, then saying that Hasek will be the starter in the playoffs. Just doesn't make much sense to me. I'm anxious to see what happens come playoff time.

He's not being overly dramatic....he's just telling it like it is. Sammy blows and yes he is a f**k up.

Agreed, he was playing like his normal self last night = horrible.

Hasek was the best player tonight....he played very well. Franzen and Sammy looked like Beavis and Butt-head out there.

I personally think that Z should be captain right now. No doubt in my mind he will be the next captain. Dats, IMO, is toward the bottom of the list as far as captain material is concerned. He can barely speak English and doesn't seem to say much. He is a great player, just not captain material in my book. Z is has it all - skills, leadership, work ethic, class. The next Yzerman (or as close to him as can be).

I still think the Wings need a big power forward. A desperate, big, physical team will knock the Wings around come playoff time. Unfortunately, I think guys like Hudler and Flip are going to get smacked around like red-headed step children. As mentioned, the post season is a totally different ball of wax.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one that doesn't car for him. He is the only guy on the Wings right now that I really WANT to see go. There are a couple guys that wouldn't bother me if they were traded....but I wish Sammy would go. As mentioned he just does not fit in with this puck possession team. As soon as he get the puck he shoots it, no matter where he is on the ice or who/what is in front of him. I am so sick of hearing "Sammuelson shoots, blocked by (insert d-man here)" or hearing it smack off the boards/glass. His skating has a weird clumsy-like stride. I can always tell when he is on the ice just by the way he skates. Hell try to make a break up ice, but it's just poked away usually leading to a turnover. It's like he gets going in one direction but can't control it after that, like a wind-up car, lol. I would really like to see him go and I literally do not care who or what the Wings would get in return.

Yeah, Markov is the only one I'd like to maybe have back. I sure wouldn't mind subtracting Sammy too.....he just doesn't fit in and his style of play (shooting from anywhere on the ice as soon as he touches the puck) just doesn't work well with the current team IMO.
