Simon obviously can't play the game without repeated attempts to injure the opposition. He's done it more than once...been suspended, comes back and is still trying to injure. Why should this piece of sh*t be allowed to play in the NHL anymore? He's clearly a threat to the safety of other players....get him the hell out of the league.

I don't think it's a very big deal. I personally think the loss of Yzerman and Shanny account for most of the attendance decline.

I was at a game vs. Columbus last season and it cracked me up when the Jackets skated out onto the ice to warm up between periods (before the Wings came out) and they played some ballerina type music I couldn't help put picture those guys twirling around on figure skates or something. One of the funnier "music guy" moments I thought.

OMG....I cannot stand Keating, he is absolutely horrible. As mentioned before, I honestly can't believe that FSN keeps that idiot around. Ken Daniels is Mickey's partner, not Keating.

I lost all respect for Iginla during last year's playoffs. His goonery was ridiculous. And I can't lose any more respect for Pronger cause I never had any for him in the first place....never liked him.

Totally agree....he started covering up his head while he was falling to the ice because he knew an ass whooping was coming. So, he just laid there on the ice pretending to be hurt so he wouldn't get the beat down he knew he had coming.

I was happy for Bert when he scored. Bertuzzi was the one guy I was really hoping the Wings were going to sign this offseason, but players/teams have reasons for doing whatever they choose to do....so be it. I personally hope that Bert has a great year in Anaheim (as long as the Wings or someone else takes them out in the post season). I really liked seeing Bert on the Wings...oh well P.S. Pronger is a homo.
