I wish the Wings could've scored on those 5 on 3's.

As stated above it's an easy fix. Sammy sits, Tuzzi hits. You can't let a guy like Bertuzzi sit while Sammy skates around taking horrible shots.
-
Completely agree...I'm very glad he got one of the stars, he deserves it...great performance!
-
Lol, they just played that wimpy song "Eternal Flame" by the Bengals EDIT: NFM beat me to it.
-
Sammy....a shot to the chest.
-
Cleary is playing really well.

I bet Bert has some frickin' laser projection cross-hairs mounted on the inside of his visor for Iginla and Phaneuf. (That were invented by Dr. Evil )
-
Ummmm, no. Going after Hank and Dats is goonery and is *****-like.
-
Man, I really lost some respect for the Flames...what a bunch of *******.
-
Iginla going after Hank now 'eh? Bert will be back to smack his *****-ass around on Sunday.

Double Post.

If I had to choose, Sammy is a no-brainer.

I say Wings in 5, losing only game 2.

I don't like a 7 year contact for ANY player
-
I agree 100%. The opposition always acts a little sheepish when he's out there, they are afraid of the Bertuzzi flavored freight train.

I would let those 3 chicks do whatever they wanted to....especially at the same time

I know many people won't agree with me, but it's just my opinion so I don't care. IMO Lidstrom has not yet achieved number retiring status. Yes he is a great defenseman, but (again IMO), he is not even close to the same caliber of "captain" as Stevie. The one element, probably the most important element, that I feel Lidstrom is missing is heart. When I watch Lidstrom play, I just don't see the heart that was obvious EVERY night with Stevie. Again like I said he is a great defenseman, but he doesn't even come close to filling Stevie's skates IMO. I am still not used to seeing Lidstrom wearing Stevie's "C". But then again, I don't think I'll ever be 100% happy with any present or future Red Wing wearing the "C" after watching Stevie for the majority of my life. IMO there is no better figure as a professional athlete and leader than Steve Yzerman. I can't express my opinion of the other numbers hanging because I've never seen them play.

As mentioned above, he did very well on his two attempts so why not use him?

10 Years Later: 03/26/97: Wings 6, Avs 5 (OT)

That was the BEST hockey game I've ever watched. I was 17, watched the whole game by myself in the living room. IMO, that was the single most important game that brought the Cup back to Hockeytown. -
The only one out of that list that I'd really like to see go is Lang.

Thoughts on Bertuzzi after first game as a Wing?
Copenhagen848 replied to HockeyCrazy3033's topic in General
I am VERY impressed with Bert thus far, especially after being off for so long. He looked good during the Columbus game, and he looked even better today. Bertuzzi is already becoming and will be major force out there. The opposition acts differently when he is on the ice.....I love it! Man-love to Bert! -
Hockey MUST have fighting......period. Otherwise it might as well be called basketball.
-
Oops! I'm very sorry I assumed you were the guy I was very impressed with your shooting, great job!
-
I was there tonight too, saw you shooting the score-o. Good job! That lady did well too! I really enjoyed seeing Bertuzzi make his debut, he looked very good for his first game back after months and months plus back surgery.
