I agree 100%. That is the one thing that I see happening consistently that really scares me. Way too many turnovers.....that and failing to clear the zone on simple/routine plays. If that doesn't get corrected, and fast......well, I don't even want to think about it.....

Much like the fans that start ridiculous threads like this after a loss about a player that assisted on 2 of the 3 goals their team scored. You fair weather fans drive me nuts. You probably didn't like the Red Wings at all until they started winning regularly.

They just had a bad game....a really bad game. Simple as that. Every team is going to suffer an embarassing loss at times. I'm not worried, hopefully it'll be a turning point.

Nick appears a little off to me as well, whether it be his elbow or age catching up with him, or a combo of both. Don't bother trying to argue norrisnick, it's just my personal observation and you apparently have issues coming to terms with the fact that Lids can't be a super human forever, lol.

Did you guys watch the game against Nashville the other night? At least twice I saw him pass the puck to nobody, and out of the zone, on the PP. Even Ken mentioned the fact that he'd done it twice. Then he was back to his old self taking shots on the PP with about 4 guys in the way that were blocked of course. This time even Mick said something about the poor shot directly leading to a turnover.

I used to like Strader and Mick on Pass Sports back in the day....but I love the duo of Ken and Mick now. Ken is an excellent play by play guy and I love good 'ol Mick. As already mentioned, FSN Detroit is Red Wings hockey. Also as mentioned, I could easily live without John Keating....he is an absolute moron. Don't care for Murph too much either to be honest.

Yesterday's game by far gave me the most satisfaction so far this season. So many wonderful things happened: They got shut out at home by Conks, Crosbitch was completely shut down, Hossa scored, and it was on NBC for everyone to see

Cleary is much tougher and works very hard. Mule has that scoring touch, but is a bit soft IMO. I'd still take the Mule because he can score some pretty goals.

Yep, it was Dave Strader who said that, which actually surprised me since he used to broadcast for the Wings with Mickey on "PASS sports" back in the day. He said it was the "Old English D in reminiscence of the Detroit Tigers and the owners Mike and Marion Illich who own both the Red Wings and the Tigers....." or something like that. Then later in the game, someone must have corrected his dumb ass and he said what it actually was for.
