With the trade deadline gone, Red Wings GM Ken Holland will focus on getting deals for some of his impending unrestricted free agents, reports the Detroit Booth News. According to the paper, Holland would like to get one or two UFAs-to-be signed by the end of the regular season, and one player would be center Pavel Datsyuk, who could make more than $5 million next season. Datsyuk's agent, Gary Greenstin, believes they are making progress in contract talks. "We're in the same boat as the Detroit Red Wings," Greenstin told the Booth News. "I'm very confident Pavel Datsyuk will stay in this organization."
