A while back, there was some discussion on where to get jerseys cheap. Last year, some of us managed to order jerseys from a company in china - LightInTheBox.com but the quality sucked. my logos had colors bled into them. (Washington Capitals.. the white was pink) Any suggestions on where to find jerseys at not 180 bucks? Thanks! B

Being both a Red Wings and Washington Capitals fan, it's sad to see this happen to Nylander. I've seen him play many times when I go to the caps games and he was on loan due to budget reasons, but no one should have to endure hits that even seem "legit". Nylander's a good fiesty player and it was just money talks that got him shipped off elsewhere.

Figured there are some people on here that like autographs.. What's some of the other-than-normal places you've had NHL players sign? I've got Alexander Ovechkin's autograph on my Blackberry. (yes, it's protected!) Grey phone with a silver lined autograph.

Nylander is a money vacuum for the Caps. Every game i go to, he's a healthy scratch. The caps are trying to get rid of him as he has a pretty decent impact on the salary cap. My hunch is, get rid of nylander, use that $$ for backstrom / semin. Nylander doesnt too much for the caps and simply does not fit the long term plans. B

I was at the game when Ovie was injured.. from the looks of it, it's probably more of a slight tweak. No one's really saying anything simply because if you announce an injury on your team, the other team is going to just keep hitting that spot. Ovie this am had his upper body injury checked out, and snuck out kettler arena afterwards. he had his dad drive his car off and ovie snuck out another door. Keep in mind, Kettler arena is on the TOP floor of a building above a shopping mall and parking garage. Way too easy to sneak out. Hopefully he'll be playing by this coming Sat.. taking a hot chick to the game. B

Great post! I think i've been to scores - unless i'm thinking of a place called Champs - Big Redskins bar, sort of looked like a former night club with posh seating. I Forgot one place... Crystal City Sports Pub. Top floor area. Buffalo Billards sounds like an ideal place, I've been there quite a few times and it's definitely worth checking out. Let's see what other options comes up, then we can do a vote tomorrow say around 2pm? OR you can cast your vote now. Please folks, don't let the distance throw you off. 2, possibly 3 games left this season, let's make the best of it and root for the red wings. Vote away!!! B

OK, Saturday's game is on. Something came up at the last min for me and I wasnt able to make it to the Russia House last night. So, ALL of you who live in the area, we MUST agree on a place to watch the game. Time to venture out from your man-caves and showy our support. I'm definetly up for a good pizza place or wings place. Not sure if Silver Spring / Wheaton is too far for any of you, but there's an awesome pizza place there called "The Stained Glass Pub" - similar to Ledo's but less greasy. Another option is BW3 at College Park. I'm not too crazy about their food but it's an option in the middle for those who live in baltimore and those who live in Northern Virgina. (This is my lowest preference) A third option - Glory Days grille. Pretty good food, LOTS of TV's, and depending on which location, there's plenty of bar seats. Other options/suggestions from others, post away! Brian

Just had to update my avatar specifically for the games. These stickers were passed out when the Caps played the Pens in round 2. I think it's appropriate for the rest of the season. lol

I'll include VA. I dont mind heading to VA to watch the games too. How does Hooters in Fairfax sound? I'm not too worried about the smoking, but for me, a ritual I have is to eat hooter wings during the game. I didnt eat 'em on tues, so that's probably why they lost. lol! Not sure, but i was able to get a ticket to the game for last year's SC game 6. But then again, i live in DC. Not sure if that's an issue, but that or everyone's a season ticket holder and have dibs on tixs. Also if you get them via ticketmaster, i think they actually restrict sales from 1-2 states over. Shady IMHO. B
