    4/16 GDT: The heat's on

so, in my mind , 6 a.m. is the next day. elshup seems to have fallen asleep. i may have won this one. either way, i am really going to bed. for maybe 4 hours. 5 tops. who cares about sleep. it was a wise man who once said "sleep is for the weak". okay, it was me who said that, last week. k. and i may never post this many times in a day again. thanks.

you being 19 or 20, go as long as you can without responsibility. at 21 i quit school and ran away to be a rock star. i told my mother(good catholic mother) i had until i was thirty to figure it out. i told her, "jesus didn't do s*** 'til he was 30, and then he only had a three year career , and before that, he was a trade laborer". she laughed. then told me to f*^k off. point being, enjoy. but get the degree. this time, really good night. i will sign off. k.

okay, you win. you are cooler than me. but... you...are half my age, are not married and do not have the most adorable five month old daughter in the world. so i go to bed with a clean conscience. don't worry, all of the LGW-LNC is proud of us both. we'll just see who is tapping their foot in the "after" game thread tomorrow. tappa tappa tappa tappa tappa tappa tappa tappa tappa tappa tappa........ tappa.... k. by the way, we named our daughter Lily. it was the closest i could get to the greatest d-man ever...Lilja. no, not realy. yes she is named Lily, but not for him. you'll have ask the dog why she chose the name Lily for our daughter. this time i am not kidding. g' night. edit:stupidity

done. the weird thing is, when i went to edit my message and delete the url, the full "real" url was there. odd. we should actually delete these last few messages, go back to mine with the url and put in some horrible sig, so any bandwagon jumper gets hijacked into using a blue jackets sig featuring anders errickson. (who, by the way is a very nice guy) k.

here is what you sent me: now go look at the url you are using. somehow, a program you are using or photobucket condenced the url. it's missing the middle part. where the "..." is, that's where your missing script is. i'm not sure who made the suggestion last night about clicking properties and copying that url, but that's what i did. you did nothing wrong, but some program did you wrong. and now i'm going to log off and pretend to go bed, so you will log off and i can "out-cool" you edit:spelling

damn, this does not bode well for me. i have to sleep. my wife works tomorrow so i have my daughter all day by myself. (until game time, that's when the wife gets home!) we shall see, yes, we shall see. and oh yeah, go get a job young man. (practicing being a dad) furthermore, i know what was wrong with the url for the LGW LNC sig. what i mean is, i know why it wouldn't work for some.

i'm the general manager of a large bar and restaurant in this here detroit area. when i was younger, my sister would try to stay up longer than my brother and i. we used to call this "trying to out-cool us". there is no way i'm gonna let you "out-cool" me. now that i'm home, i'm waiting for my 5 month old to wake so i can feed her. so, i can stand here tapping my foot for a long time, little lady. i will not be "out-cooled". k.

i have this theory about mcgoo. i believe that every once in a while he doubts the quality of his whistle. while forgetting that a game is being played he thinks, "i should really try this whistle, what if it doesn't work later? now i'm worried. i'll try it. tweeeeet. oh crap! who has the puck, i have to call something on the team with the puck! oh crap! AHHH! i'll just call the play dead and look for someone who looks guilty!! looks like this one goes to the red wings. whew, gotta out that one. uh-ho, what if this whistle doesn't work later? now i'm worried......"

was anyone watching the flyers-penguins ot game a couple of years back. i was at work (in a bar) and there was no way i was leaving. the bartender lived more than twenty minutes away, and she didn't want to risk missing anything. we were here until about 4:30 in the morning. and we didn't even want to drink anymore. that was an awesome night.

    Holland.

http://www.tsn.ca/tsn_talent/columnists/gino_reda/ "A plus to Ken Holland, whose work with the Red Wings just earned him some much deserved recognition. Despite the loss of significant talent during the offseason, his club is third overall. And now The Hockey News just ranked him the #1 GM in the league" the hockey news isn't available yet online.
