the new MGM casino hotel is having a tough time selling rooms, so you may be able to get a great deal there. I know they have a shuttle to and from the game. A really cool bar that always gets overlooked is Bookies. It's on Washington in the Book tower. They also have a shuttle. (unless the kid is late like last week.) You find a bunch of the employees from the Joe at Bookies after the game. The Ferndale/Royal Oak area is good for walking-shopping-people watching. Just north of downtown. I don't care what people say, this is a great place to live. In Detroit, you are only 20 minutes away from anything and everything. Skip Windsor, you will have to deal with the Border Patrol and it may take a while to cross the border. Have Fun. k. edit:spelling

Your birthday? My Birthday. Actually it was yesterday. And my wife got me tickets for the game tonight. We are leaving in 5 minutes. My friend is a camerman for Fox Sports, they were trying to arrange a zamoni ride for me, but, lucky for me, it was all booked. edit: spelling

I would still take Nolan as a Wing anyday.

Here is a link to Marty Biron's blog for the Flyers 10 day road trip to start the season. http://flyers.nhl.com/team/app/?service=pa...d=18322#day%202 It has pictures and movies from the trip. It's pretty cool. I have always wondered about life on the road. P.S. Day one is at the bottom of the page.
