Although Ben is a force, I think if we could pick up Brad Isbister from the Canucks we would be looking at the 08 09 stanley cup champs for sure. Never thought I'd say this but I think we need to dangle Lebs out there and see who's interested. He does some good things on the ice, but again I don't think he's physical enough to answer some of our D-men issues. Yes I know were in 1rst place in the league by a long shot, but most of us fans know what it takes to win a cup. I think we need a physical D-man that can put the smack down on some fowards and plays with a bit of a mean streak. Saying that, I think its about time we address our size issue up front. I don't think we need 4 scoring lines to get to the end either. Keep in mind theres a stupid salary cap every team is up against. No more 4th lines consisting of Homer,Igor and Lucky Luc. By The Way would love B Jack!!!

Hossa would be a dandy of a pick up, but were going to have to give up alot to get him. What scares me the most is not re-signing him after we give talent up for him. The league needs to do something about this. Dont get me wrong though, I'd love to have Hossa on the team for sure.

Scott Thorton for the LA Kings would be a good deadline pick up for us. I don't think it would take too much to get him but then again I could be wrong. Scott skates decent for a big guy and could help our playoff roster with his grit. Thoughts?

He would be an upgrade for Drake for sure, plus he can fight. I don't think we need 4 scoring lines to win the cup, we gotta get bigger and have more protection. I love Downey and respect the hell outta him for the Parros fight, but lets be honest he isn't going to get any playoff time unless injuries occur. Kings are going to make deals, this is who we need imo.

He's another big shot at the point on the power play and shoots right at that. I think its a nice pick up if we dont give up too much.

I think Ozzy is playing some of his best net right now. Hasek never has been a fast starter, but normally gets her goin about mid season. The question is, who do you feel most comfortable with between the pipes come playoff time? I have never been an Osgood fan, but he has quickly shut me up this year. IMO Hasek wasn't "The Dom" last year in the playoffs, and I think if Ozzy keeps her goin he'll get a chance to put some pressure on Babs for that #1 spot. Your thoughts?
