Is LGW dying, what's going on here?
-
Whaaaaaaa
-
I might be one of the few, but I'd rather watch a Red Wings game on CBC or NBC... rather than watching it on FSD.
-
I remember that game like it was last week....that being said, '01 Avalanche > '02 Red Wings

Phoenix-Winnipeg games. Crazy

What was the point of picking the SCF winner in the quarter finals? I had the Canucks winning from the start. I might be completely missing it, anyway Van/Bos: 4-2
-
VAN/SJS: 4-3 BOS/TBL: 4-2
-
Brink of elimination eh
-
Relax, it was one period. Shots are 12-7 Detroit and they are looking good at the face-off circle. They have to take the positives
-
VAN/NSH: 4-2 SJS/DET: 4-2 WAS/TBL: 4-1 PHI/BOS: 4-3

CBC would need game 1 to start tomorrow in order to have a game Saturday, Hockey Night in Canada. One could argue, why not have game 1 start Saturday? That's just one of my guesses.

I was thinking the same thing. An upsetting team is just as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than a higher seeded team. Obviously! E.g. '03 Ducks, '04 Flames (defeated top 3 seeded teams in West), '06 Oilers. I don't know, maybe I'm completely missing the moral of the story.

The travel issue is irrelevant, as it works both ways. All four teams will be traveling.
-
Maybe he should talk more about the playoffs instead of his retirement

VAN/CHI: 4-1 SJS/LAK: 4-2 DET/PHX: 4-2 ANA/NSH: 4-3 WAS/NYR: 4-1 PHI/BUF: 4-2 BOS/MTL: 4-3 PIT/TBL: 4-2 WC Champion:Vancouver EC Champion:Washington SCF Champion:Vancouver

That was great! -
Either way you slice it, really amazing. He's only 5'5". If anyone is wondering, the record for the fastest two goals are by Nels Stewart (Jan. 3, 1931) and Deron Quint (Dec. 15, 1995), both at 4 seconds.

They must have Nabokov on the mind

ESPN's Scott Burnside tweeted, "Guess after all those Stanley Cups and Vezinas Nabokov can afford to snub the Isles. Oh wait." -

Wouldn't it be logical for Snow to contact him or his agent before they claim him? It just seems that this situation was avoidable. -
Well, this kind of thing happens all the time. It's really simple, you can't go around grabbing people, athlete or not. It's battery/assault in any state. At the same time, I can see what you mean. Athletes probably have a higher chance of charges being brought on them. I don't think lawsuit would be a correct term, as it would be a criminal matter.

Who knows, TSN has him at 5'9", NHL says 5'8", and Wikipedia says 5'6"
