If you mean is it from China, I doubt it. They typically don't make those players that they have in that sellers store. The lettering looks good, not the typical innaccurate China lettering. As far as the actual jersey its hard to tell since the authentic companies, RBK, Nike, CCM make many replica style blanks. Its odd as it has no embroidered stamp in the back, NHL or puck. Its hard to tell if its a pro or replica weight. If its a replica weight $200 is on the top end of pricing as pro weight jerseys usually sold for $260-$270. For it to be totally accurate for 1998 it would have to have a NHL logo on the back right lower trim next to a Nike swoosh. I was thinking about this too. I would guess they have lost more weekend afternoon games than won, at least it feels that way. It would be interesting to see the numbers.

NHL network has the HD feed of the Wings Canucks game today at 2:00, yet its still blacked out even though its a rebroadcast. I assume even if I get center ice it would still be blacked out because FSD is broadcasting their rebroadcast, what a joke. I guess its not fair to Sam Bernstein if I watch the Wings on another feed. Ridiculous. I swear it was not like this 2 years ago, I could watch the Wings on either the FSD and or VS & HDnet feeds when they had Thursday and Saturday games. Now the HD net games are gone and it seems like VS doesn't get many games anymore. I guess its all an attempt to make you fork over $160-200 to watch other teams play in SD. Maybe if I call someone in India can explain it to me

I would probably get this except they don't tell you how many games will be in HD. Dish Network says "select games" which this month was only 15 and their schedule doesn't show anything beyond Oct31. SD really blows.

Last year it was Fanfest, this year is Hockeyfest, do you have a book that says exactly what to expect at an event based on what its called? I guess I should have told the 100+ people chasing the players after the Q&A session, I wasn't one of them by the way, that its not Autograph fest I mean how silly of me to expect to maybe meet a player when they promote that players will be in attendance. The schedules said nothing, that was the point of my original post. I guess you missed that. Or that there were no organized lines, the employees didn't know anything. Like I said maybe Saturday was better after they figured out what they did wrong from Friday. So what, Friday was free. I've payed plenty with the tickets and the Red Wings logo merchandise I buy. I didn't have a good time because my kid didn't have a good time, caused by the LONG wait for everything and the fact they wanted to meet the Capt. I went on Friday and as usual no organization, no one knows anything. Got there at 3:00 sharp, went and toured the locker room came out saw a large crowd by the tunnel, find out Lidstrom is signing, get in line, line takes forever because not only is he signing but also posing for pics with everyone. Then they say he is quiting at 4:00 sharp and no more after that, of course thats 25 people before I get there. Would have been nice if people were told when they came in the door he was signing. Those that came in at street level knew but if you came in at the Gordie Howe entrance like me you didn't. Go up to see some ALUMNI on the concorse, wait in line for another 10 minutes, no-one is showing up to the table and nobody that works there even knows who is going to be signing. Then someone shows up and tells everyone to follow them. Back down the stairs to get in line in the tunnel to get autographs from Eddie Mio and Brent fedyk I did manage to get a free sponge puck they tossed out after the Q&A session. Nobody signed after that and they hustled Lidstrom and Holmstrom out with a large crowd chasing after them. Last year Stevie and Gordie came down and signed for people after the Q&A session. I could only stay for 2-1/2 hours so I don't know if it got better later. Aside from the locker room tour it would have been a bust. At least I didn't pay $20. Maybe Saturday was better for people. If they are doing a fan fest more players should show up and sign for a few hours. Everybody meets the players gets a memento and goes home happy. Really is that too much to ask? I guess for the Red Wings it is.

Went to this last year, my daughter and I both got our Yzerman jerseys signed. He also signed my dads hat. We also got Bud Lynch's autograph and a few others. Almost had Gordies but he was slower than Stevie and he quit just before he came to us. Other than that it would have been a little lame, more of the players should have shown up. Agreed, they just told my mom she needs this surgery and to be prepared for 9 months of non-use. Granted she's not a physically fit hockey player but 4 months seems light.

Bettman wants this a series, the Pens are/will be getting away with murder in their arena. I fear this is the year the NHL will see to it that Crosby gets his cup. The non calls last year were questionable but this year the fix is in and its very apparent.

To me it always seems to have the reverse effect, missing a star player the team usually rallies and wins the game. Case in point 2 years ago when Pronger was suspended, we lost the next game. Then in the chicago game this year when Lidstrom didn't play, we won that game.
