I saw him play Saturday night and he's not worth all the hoopla, he was barely noticable on the ice. Keep him in the AHL until he can prove himself or send him him packing. Its not like we really need anymore small players.

Hmmm.. 2 broken bones in less than 6 months, maybe his body is telling him something.

The rock solid defender should earn consideration from the wings next season in at least a part time basis. Jonathan Ericsson "C" Ericsson hit the wall mid-January and has not been the same player since. It is very common among players used to the shorter seasons in Europe and college hockey, to burn out in the second half before adjusting to the longer schedule. In addition to his size and skating ability, Jonathan also has a cannon of a shot with a quick release, and soft hands, which would be a primary scoring threat on the powerplay if he used them more consistently. After watching them play all year Jonathan did step it up at the end of the season and did extremely well on the PP and was surprisingly good on shootouts, not that shootouts matter now.

Just got home from the game, great effort even missing Schneider who I didn't know was injured until I heard it on the radio. Thought I missed him but was so caught up in the game I didn't notice. The energy in the Joe was great even after they scored first, it always sounds less loud on TV. Bury them in game 6, Go wings!!!

Its quite laughable all the Flamers fans call all the goonery "just hockey" yet trying to get pucks to the net and being pushed into the goalie is "running the Goalie"

Ditto, unbelievably horrible, they miss the real calls and call all the dives, most of which are by the Flames The call on Schnieder was the worst, he just barely touches the guys back and he falls to the ice, give that guy a Academy award. They don't see the elbow to Hasek but see the stick pointing They are also looking the other way when the Wings are getting held all game long. The Flames know they can't win even matched so they are embelishing everything. Makes Hasek's antics look mild by comparison.

He's a "A" and usually plays D with Meech.

Just curious, what illegal camera did he have? I always take my camera in and its allowed. Its not a $1000 canon but its still a large size 12x zoom lens. They look at it and send me on my merry way.

Picked up Danny Syvrets #3. We sat with him at the booster club dinner, nice guy and a great defensemen. He will be missed now that he got called up.

I liked the design, although I am not a big fan of the screen printed jerseys. I would guess they are cheaper than the traditional heavy weight stitched letter jerseys, thereby increasing the monies alotted to the charities. Sponsors paid for the cost where before the cost was taken off the winning bids. Still bought one

Well you can chock this loss up to Doms panicky theatrics. Someone tie a short teather from the goal post to his neck. If he would have stayed in net this one would have been in the bag. Why is he panicky? Because he knows when the goals for the wings aren't coming easy, Dom in a shootout = LOSS

The refs are destroying this game and because of it things are going to get out of hand quickly.

Yep, they were laughable. I usually go to the auctions but I decided to pass on those horrid jerseys. I am curious to know how much people actually paid for these if they would admit it.
