Fine or ticky tack 1 game break. This league is pathetic. That wasn't a play resultant of speed and slight miscalculation, Stuart was on a tee and that was a dirty, malicious hit.

Actually, that was a pretty soft call from what I could see, looked like he was checked from the side and tripped.

Not a bad point. A strong period of hockey tonight may actually be good for him going into tomorrow's game. Sadly, I would like to see Ozzie in the third if the Wings bring it within one, but if they do, Howard will stay for sure.

I say let Howard go down with the ship. Osgood should be fresh tomorrow, no point in saving Howard's pride at this point...

Not Howard's fault, but if he had done his job that would be the first or second behind him. As it stands, its 4 goals in half a game.

Eaves is great at putting a wicked shot on goal and at least keeping the goalie honest and creating rebounds.

Pull Howard, more than anything, his goals against are soft and have AWFUL timing.

Why do the Wings play down to the weak teams?

Pretty impressive to see all five Wings skaters on the goalline though. Surprised the defenseman could get 3 feet from the goaltender like that in the NHL. Lucky for him Osgood was out of position
