I could agree with you on three. Although I do watch college basketball from time to time especially march madness but besdies checking how the Rap's are doing in the standings I stay far away from the NBA.

I don't know if it's possible but to only have available the positive one. If you don't like it don't vote if you do then give it an up. I think it would take the fun away from the abusers. Just my thoughts.

Ok. Just to get this straight, I went in to the Canada vs. USA thread days after the US beat Canada. American's were bragging and still waving flags. I told them that they hadn't one s*** yet and if we meet you in the finals you will get it back and you won't like it. They told me to f*** off, more or less. So we ended up beating them and now just as I thought it would play out if we won, American's say we are bragging too much and they are not happy about it. I hate to say say I told them so. You may not have been one that was in that thread but it really doesn't matter. Yes that is it. The US played great together but individually their own talents aren't that great. Miller very well may have started for Canada if he was on our team but we aren't going to leave Fleury on the team and cut Brodeur. We would cut Fleury and have those three who ever starts would be up to the way they play. Nobody is saying Miller was the 3rd goalie. Stop being dense. It was a close game. We had some more chances then you guys did. Miller had to be great. The "bounce" you speak of was not really a bounce at all. It was winning the battle for the puck and Rafalski makeing a mistake. Nobody is trying to be cocky or brag. This thread was an opion thread on who could have made team Canada. Quit your ******* whining. Parise and Miller are definites.

Only way I wanna see Z/D on there together is if Franzen stays on there. Him and D have been magical since his return. Bringing up Z would leave Homer and Bert Centered by Flip? Wouldn't we have to break up Helm/Draper/Eaves just to have another center or would Williams be the guy?

Z can play the wing. Might not be that bad of and idea for a period if the Helm-Draper-Eaves line isn't quite cutting it one game.

You choose not to hope for Canada because you don't like some of the players. They still are representing our country. My dad has been a Wing's fan since 55 and lives in Texas yet still cheers for Canada. So I don't see your point. It's not a god given right that's for sure but now that other countries are way better we are proud when we win. Even more so now because we don't dominate every event. It's not like comparing football with American's but if other countries started getting really good at American football you can be damn sure American's would act the same way we do about hockey.

This is about Flip, but I'll get to him in a minute. Helm has been one of our best players all year. He has played his role perfectly for such a young guy. If the Helm-Draper-Eaves line wasn't so good I don't see why he couldn't be given a chance up on the first line purely because of his effort and speed. It would definitely hurt our depth though. Now Flip has almost maxed out his potential but I would like him to be a little more aggressive offensively. He is to much like Dats was 4 years ago. It may come with time but who knows.

When you post about international hockey your post are very American leaning for being a Canadian. Maybe not American leaning but anti-Canadian.
