First pre-season game for me. I'm excited.

When I subscribed to Centre Ice I was offered Gamecentre for free but I don't know if it is still like that. If it was me and I had a decent enough computer and decent interent connection I would go for Gamecentre. You are still restricted by blackouts but I don't believe it has as many restrictions as Centre Ice.

Bettman has promised Ilitch a move to the east for years. If Atlanta moves, it should be us.

I hate cliches. Most of the time they are completely off base.

Honestly though, nobody cares about coincidental minors. People look at at power plays which give one team an advantage. Arguing that San Jose actually had 4 penalties and not 2 doesn't change anything. This guy might be a life long Wing's fan but it doesn't make him intelligent. We got outplayed 5 on 5 in the 2nd. We came out sharper in the 3rd but our momentum that we worked up got taken away by the refs figuring out that their whistles do work. Stuff that wasn't called in the 2nd was being called late in the 3rd. That is where I have a problem with it. Either call it all game or don't call it all game. It's that simple.

The thing that I find unbelievable is that the linesman from the finals last year has now been suspended for maybe or maybe not taking the winning puck out of the net after Kane's goal. Yet refs who are completely and utterly incompetent and inconsistent are not held accountable for their performance on the ice. It blows my mind.

I liked how the Yotes were freely allowed to enter the zone off-side in the last 5 minutes 2 or 3 times. Funny how the linesman can make the right call for 55 minutes but utterly blow it in the last 5. Weird.

I think the States are just getting on more loose pucks now. They don't just get it in and watch Canada break out past them. The goal gave them a bit of boost. They don't look as dreadful as they did earlier.

I'm pretty sure that is what makes the difference between a winner and a loser in any sport. I'm as surprised as a lot of people on here but the Canadians deserve every bit of credit for this game today. They look great. Not just a step above terrible.

I'm surprised right now. Canada is owning the States in every aspect of the game. The States are better than this. Canada's best period of the tournament for sure.

Not even close. Last years team was better than this years. The States are still about the same. You can't compare divisions. Who is to say we would have beat the Fins? comparing divisions is irrelevant. When it comes to Canada beating the Swiss 4-1 it only means that Conz played lights out against the States and only played good against us. That is the only reason the scores were what they were. Leblanc's goal was a good shot but should have been stopped and Conz would have stopped that the withe the game he was having against the States. It will be the goalies that decide this game. Campbell>Roy, Campbell>Visentin. If that doesn't change tonight Canada goes home with a dirty bronze or nothing. Go Canada anyways. It's not like they are a bad team the States just might be that much better.

TSN2 has a Raptors game on it right now. Sucks. Maybe they will go there after. TSN says it's showing it but it was Al Micheals interviewing Bradford.

That's risky. Jack Campbell is an awesome goalie and he is much better than anyone Canada has now. Although Visentin looked ok against the Swiss.

I think it is just because it is Canada. It's not to often that we can put in a team that isn't considered the strongest. This is one of those years though.
