Seriously is it just me noticing or did it take a minute for a trainer to actually get on the ice? I don't think the video seems edited but after they show a minute of replays they cut back to a live shot and the trainer is just getting there.

I have said it before. American's shouldn't watch Coach's Corner. Most of you guys take everything he says to heart and then come on here to bash him. I think that is why some people continue to watch, just so there is a new Cherry thread every week. They must have missed the segments where Cherry has praised Lidstrom and other Euros on the Wing's for their amazing play. Every friggin' show we get in Canada is American based for the most part and this is one that is truly our own. Hockey Night in Canada and Coach's Corner should not have to change their broadcast to make American's feel better and try not to hurt feelings. Sorry guys Cherry will say what he wants and as dumb as some of his comments are I like the way he is. All I'm saying is enough with the "Hey look what he said this week.." threads.

Confidence. He is playing against guys he is better than. At least he thinks he is better than, if you know what I mean. He shouldn't even be in the AHL if it wasn't for the cap situation so he's juiced with confidence I think. It is the game he needs to play when he is up. Just need to give him time.

Yzerman's comments didn't change that series it was Lidstroms goal that broke the Canucks back and Cloutiers career.

Well I heard that Stevie was an over rated captain. He barely said anything to anyone in the dressing room. He wasn't very motivational to the team. He did lead by playing hurt but that seemed to be it. I heard that from a a former teammate of his. Doesn't make it completely true though. So we will take what you say with a grain of salt as I'm sure you will tak my comment the same way.

Well if you are right it is definitely suprising that it is only starting to hurt us now. I don't think it's that that is affecting our play.

So we are only feeling the backlash of the Yzerman situation now. We have been to 2 finals and won a cup. President's Trophys as well. What does that have to do with this season?

Prolly feel like a first round exit without the sting. I'll watch and it will be good we made it to the final dance 2 years in a row. It's time to take a vacation this post-season. I have never watched a more interesting playoffs then when the Oilers dumped the Wings in the first round. Definitely disappointing but it was a great playoffs to watch with no pressure.

I'm saying that Anahiem would pick Geztlaf too. Therefore no trade. I don't think we can get rid of D though. I really don't think we make any moves until the off season. I don't care. It is disappointing but I think we would be better off playing out this season and if we make the playoffs then great if not we do something in the off season. Like I have mentioned in other threads, we have been spoiled as fans and anything less then a cup is disappointing. It is somewhat refreshing to have no pressure on us right now(or not as much). I won't be so stressed out around playoff time this year. Don't get me wrong, I only want this to happen once but to think there is no pressure come playoff time is relaxing to me and my heart.

Well that is expected. New guys come back and have to get used to playing and guys who have been playing need to play with guys coming back from injury. They need an adjustment period but we haven't had that. Every time someone comes back someone new goes down.

Like who??? Eaves has been struggleing with ankle injury before he came to the Wing's. The rest besides Miller and his odd game he is out have barely gotten injured very much. Kronwall had his time but I'd like to see you take Laraques knee and walk away. Williams breaking his leg? What a *****. Franzen too? Holmstrom? Jeez.
