The thing that pisses Wings fans off, ( I may just be speaking for myself) is that Datsyuk, in my opinion is the best all around player in the league along with iginla, yet they dont get marketed as much, if at all outside there own markets. Dats is russian and never a higly touted draft pick. And Iginla is in the west and nobody cares about the west. The east is more important(?) and gets the majority of the coverage. Crosby is also all offence and playmaking, something the NHL wants to see more of.THE new NHL is horrible in that way. They reward media attention teams that have poor defence but high potent offence not well rounded teams.

I dont think you will have the option to watch it on TV. I think the only option is a streaming feed. TSN here in Canada has the FS Detroit feed and they do stream them live on TSN.ca but I'm ot sure if it streams in the states. Thats all I know. Sorry.

I don't think the question will be if, but how many. There should be a decent Wings presence there. Not like having to play in San Jose or something.

THE ALMIGHTY CROSBY!!!!!......Face of the game is what I hear. The Wings don't have a player that has been built up and immortalized since he was 6 years old.

Hitchcock, as good as a coach he is has been doing this for years. Not as much in Dallas but he was complaining all the time while in Philly. Dallas was a powerhoue and he didn't need to worrry about playing games like this. With a weaker team he feels he can do this because he actually does get outplayed and needs to find points in the other teams game that hopefully the refs will crack down on even if they are phantom plays.

It would have been nice to see what Grigorenko could have amounted to i it wasn't for the accident. And I'de have to agree Franzen looks like he has a pretty big melon under there. haha

Speaking of bandwagon fans. They sure came out of the woodwork when calgary made it to the finals. And living here is even worse. not a person cared about the flames minus the couple hundred die hards. and bam holy, i couldnt believe how many brand new flames flags were hangin from ppls vehicles. its disgusting actually to see it. through thick and htin is the only way to support a team and here in calgary u definetly dont see that. that annoys the hell out of me. Could not agree more about the car flags
