Dude hitting is far more important than fighting

There are more wings fans in the Chicago "zone" than hawks ahah I expect a good amount of Wings fans to be there but totally biased coverage for the Hawks.

He just needs to be more physical maybe get in a fight r 2 this season, and keep his head up when he shoots or passes.

If you lay a big check into may or parros and knock them out for an entire game rather than just 5 min thats a whole lot more effective than a measly 3 punches landed fight.

From what i can tell, no matter what the country they all play with passion, does it matter where they come from if they have good hockey skills. I agree Kopecky should be fighting, but if had some other abilities i wouldn't mind if he didn't, he simply is not cutting it on this team. He has had some decent hits but at this point in time especially playing on the first line, not enough. I was only a grade schooler in the late 90s and i moved to Wisconsin after the second cup, but i remember my favorite players being Larionov, Kozlov, and Federov. Besides stevie of course. Konstantinov seemed to be the wing that got everyone fired up the most though, especially when he annihilated Turtle its too bad him and Fischer both are out of it, luckily we have Kronwall who has the best mind and surprisingly can hit despite his size, but he's no Fischer in the physical department. I think as long as our bottom 2 d pairings are smashing guys, its less the aging 4th line's job. They only play like 5 min a night anyways, its not that unbearable to see them on maybe 10 shifts.

This is why we wont need an enfocer for most of the season: because hitting is faaaaaaaaar more effective than fighting

No VS BLOWS, there were like 10 quality hits in this one, they managed to repaly 3 of them and the one on briere 3 times alone. Sbisa had a beaut and they replayed a horrible angle of it sandwiched between 2 other fast and pointless clips, they kept shownign the replays for the dumbest things including autistic kids playing, they could've mentioned it cause its a good cause but c'mon, 3 out of at least 10 quality hits is all they replay? VS can blow me at least TSn and even FSN has the balls to show hit replays. Also they were hardcore homering for the Bolts aside from Briere. I remember at the end them saying Mike Smith played way better even though both goalies were pretty even and Biron even had to stop a penalty shot. They were also all over Sbisa's back who played a fine game, he reminds me of a future Kronwall.

Conklin should, that would be cool to see him in all 3, why should ozzy care, there just playing it at the dump Wrigley field, if they actually wanted it to be a good atmosphere try soldier field.

I love watchign ANY hockey game, id rather watch paint dry than watch baseball, and football just flat out sold out and was only really good in the early 1900s, basketball sucks, everything about hockey is perfect, the hits, the goals, the fighting, the dekes, i watch hockey every night no matter what the matchup, i think if your a true hockey fan/player you don't need a fight every damn game, half of the time they suck now anyways cause the guys are getting really timid id even say guys like Zetterberg are alot tougher than the enforcers. Just look at Laraque vs Chara, they just have sex with each other and fall down. The only guy that would be worth watching fighting every night would be Carcillo. Theres not gonna be a fight every wings game, if thats all you care about watch a different team such as Phoenix or a different sport for that matter such as the lowly MMA.

Last night the Ducks were the ones backing down, Datsyuk nailed Moen, Sammy boarded pronger, the only guy the ducks were going after was draper. Why shoudl the wings have been involved in any of it they were dominating.

I live in Wisconsin, shouldn't all of the rinks be following this anyways, that's why despite its connotation as a hockey state, pretty much outside of a few pockets Hockey still isn't that popular mostly due to dumb football being outrageously popular.

YOu're forgetting this: just as impressive as the goal, should at least be in top the top 10 but then again TSN are abuncha ******* that want certain clean hits to be penalized
