Cleary has had an injured eye this season and has been nonexistent imo, they should just put him on ir and bring up leino until dan can see 100%. At least give leino a chance since hudler apparently wasn't working. I have a good bet that clear has been playing injured possibly not just the eye this season.

All ive said this whole thread is Crosby is overrated and too many people here are being sympathetic to him not being the best player in the leauge and people bashing Semin, which he shouldn't be, he never said he himself was better than Crosby, he was echoing a statement that a lot of poeple, and players, obbviously share. Semin is still a good player, not Crosby's caliber but some of you have to get over it.

I never said he wasn't great but he is overrated. That dive crosby made on that goal wasn't needed to put the puck in the net, its still a highlight reel goal because obviously the guys at TSN have crushes on Crosby like most Canadian Media. if someone like Kopecky scored that people would just say, oh it was a pretty decent goal. On that goal filpula scored in the finals, people were calling that an unneeded dive, i think that one had far more credibility than crosby's.

Ok, i mean a highlight goal that takes a lot more skill and doesn't involve unnecessary diving. He even started yelling at one of the ice kids at one point. Semin can definately snipe better than crosby, there was one time i think in the olympics where Semin just freaking wired a wrist shot from the blueline right into the top corner no chance for the goalie who may have been Lundquist i dont remember. he can also roof it at any given point on the ice. Crosby is definately better but Semin is definately alot funner to watch than crosby and semin can still be considered somewhat of an elite forward. Semin may have the best wrist shot in the league. Crosby is well rounded offensively although ive never really seen him have a highlight reel goal or just light it up like semin does. prople dont realize how many empty nets and secondary assists crosby gets and how many garbage goals he gets by sitting in the same spot every time next to the goal where retarded dmen don't bother to cover him. The one thing crosby is elite is his ability to pass into the slot, but in all joe thornton is better than him. i dont think crosby is #1 at anything in this league, but hes near the top in enough of them for him to be a top 10 player but no where near #1.

id say replace dmac with downey and Maltby with helm, i think it will come if malts and dmac dont show up ot the next few games.

If Crosby played in the west, different story, thats one reason why guys like iginla, datsyuk, Zetterberg are better than him. In theory, Dan Boyle should already have 3000 points this year but he's looking average just cause hes playing in the west now.
