The only odd thing about pierre is he sucks Holland's dick, but yet he hates the wings other wise

If the games mattered it would be a different story, most nhl games dont matter as much during the WJCs , if they did, a lot less people would watch the wjc over the NHL, personnaly, just the fact that anything amazing could happen in the NHL on a much higher skill level than wjc draws me in
-
ok, you get a thrill out of inexpreience, i personally enjoy the finished product, and i had to gloat, people claimed i knew nothing about hockey, i was stating the facts, there are probably people out there more insane than me, i watch a lot of hockey, play alot, and from my experience it is impossible to top the NHL. Maybe your experiences are different but i can guarantee more people find the NHL more exciting than the world juniors, the wjc's may be more special because they are only for a short time but overall, over 1000 games of NHl hockey are year is imo more exciting than a few weeks of wjc.
-
i know its your opinion, but you might want to watch a bit more NHL games, all of these players play in it, and are much more skilled, playing much more skilled opponents, the same things happen in the NHL

nothing is more entertaining than a datsyukian deke, a carcillo or lucic beatdown, a lundquist/brodeur special, a glass shattering hit, or ovechkin rolling around on his back your theory is clearly off

You all have it wrong, datsyuk actually used his alien magnetic powers to split the d, then he used an alien mind trick to settle the puck down and hypnotized huet into opening his 5 hole. He used his alien gas power to gain speed.- 1,043 replies

tell me soem canadians including a really *** french irish one aren't a little too obsessed: great save though

tbh prongers suspension on the kessler incident helped his team
-
But ovechkin followed him in, huard didn't suddenly make a sharp turn. Lilja turned into his, and lilja did get injured but not severely.
-
Lilja turned into it at the last second, from what i remember it wasn't high or an elbow
-
nobody here thinks it was, the title was based on 1 replay late at night, still suspendable for a game because it was unintentionally dirty
-
almost anybody would say the same things
-
unless a headshot is liek Weight's which if we suspend that we'd be *******, i think headshots should be curved somehow without getting rid of hitting, no suspensions, just maybe minor or major penalty. They shoudl also review all head hits leading to injury to quickly see the circumstance before making a call. but boarding is uncalled for even when it's "unintentional" they also coudl add the rule where you can grab the guy, and players shoudl be told not ot turn into hits, but huard was turned for 15 feet so it wasn't really his fault
-
Whether or not he gets suspended at least they had the balls to come out and say they were reviewing it, but still, they will coem up with a bs explanation of it
-
Listen to when it initially happens, one guy's like Ouch (that was a bad hit) and the other's just like ovechkin "running around" which for him can be careless
-
for those who think ovechkin isn't even a bit dirty;(brown is one of the cleanest hitters in the game): sure briere proably deserved it he was suspended for this:
-
Thsi is why i made a deal out of this, what if the league would just suspend a star player for a borderline hit for once, i can tell you this is the first tme a star player had elbowed soemone from behind all season.
-
if huard would have turned at the last second into the boards and there wasn't an elbow, i would have no porblem with this play even if huard were injured although he would not have been this injured
-
That's pretty similar to what im seeing it, ovechkin honestly followed him from just past the net, all form behind
-
Ovechkin hits high, and charges soemtimes, and to compare him to pronger, lame, pronger is 6'6 his elbow is always in someone's face, ovechkin isn't that small either but still, a different situation
-
True, it wasn't premeditated, but the elbow hit huard in the head, ovechkin didn't try to avoid it, whether its suspendable thats debateable, i think it shoudl just be 1 game just to show the world that the NHL will suspend anyone because they can use the elbow and the hit form behind as thier argument liek i am. maybe im scapegoating ovechkin but i htink he could have made that check differently.
