Martin Brodeur is a big guy as well, but he honestly doesn't look like a Gladiator like Giguere... His shoulder pads are very large, as is his jersey. While they may have cut down on pad size and such, it sure was an advantage a couple of years ago.

Yep, we are just too old and washed up now. We are puny specimens on top of that. There is just no chance, we aren't as talented or gritty as anyone. Why are we even in the league?

I totally agree. It's absolutely ridiculous, there is never one positive mention of any of the Wings players at all. Everything revolves around the "big" Canadian players. I remember all of them saying how much bigger and better the Sharks were and that the Sharks are a "better team". No, they are a one line team and they are done. I expect the Ducks to fall the same way. GO WINGS!
