I believe it was game 2 but might hve been game 3... Detroit was doing the long stretch pass. Problem was it was to guys like Abdelkader and cleary. If it was to a guy with speed like Nyquist or helm (sigh) it could have made a bigger difference I think

Tatar!!!!! I wish! Lol Like some have said, Bertuzzi obviously isn't ready or feeling good enough, so hopefully datsyuk can start setting up a guy that has no fear of shooting the puck. Only problem I see is zero net front presence on that line but the line of getzlaf, perry, and Ryan aren't really net front either. Until Howard gets the puck then Perry does everything he can to fall on to Howard

These anti Howard threads are getting old fast... I'm not going to repeat what everyone said about how he is the reason we are in playoffs no matter how painfully obvious it is. Howard is our only goalie and if people honestly think Gus can steal us a playoff game this fan base is crazier then I thought. You can't steal a game when your offen gives you no support, and your defense doesn't give you much support. We re down 2-1 in this series because in our two loses we have combined for 1 goal not because Howard can't stop the puck.

The one thing I will add, on the 3rd goal I believe it was lashoff in front of the bet had no body covered... Kindl followed the guy around the net, the forward made the pass through him and lashoff was standing far post doing nothing and a guy came in shortside and buried.

I don't know about blaming it but are saying her can't steal us a game (even though we didn't even score a goal)I still laugh at the fact that people always point out Howard's contract. I'm sorry but in the NHL you get paid when your contract is up and around UFA time. Please name other goalies around the league that make less then him, have gone through UFA and haven't had a bad/terrible year in the past 3-4 years... There won't e many... Howard's numbers are close to top 10 in the league for his past 4 years The goalies that are up there with him just have been paid yet (rask), had a bad year or so and got shipped to another team (Anderson) came out of the wood works out of no where (bobrosky). Yes is 5 million a hefty price to pay a goalie yes, but unless you want to deal with what Philly has been dealing with (and they still pay 5 million) I'm happy paying Howard what he deserves to make sure our goalie is solid for the next hand ful of years.

Smith is untouchable because we will never get his worth... The kid is a rookie in the NHL and expected to play more minutes then a rookie should... People expect him to play like a vet in his first couple playoff games... Lol Growing pains and learning to play in the playoffs is all just a myth

As far as the ones bailing, go right ahead. Man god forbid we gave a breakdown and not give up on our team... If I do recall we can still go back to Detroit with a 1-1 series... And do the all important thing of winning a game on the road... It isn't a series until someone loses one at home... We are one shot away from stealing one in Anahiem... Lets go steal this game! The score doesn't matter!!!! Even if we gave up a 7 goal lead... What matters now is who scores the last one... Yea this game should already be won... But this should light a fire under this team and Howard who is the reason we are here to begin with. For once our offense is going to have to bail him out...

If I'm correct, I believe I have heard a lot about this kid and that he has had a pretty promising career in St. Cloud.

Howard gave us a chance to win last night, and all our skaters could do was put in a goal off clearys chest on a 5 on 3... Lol.
