What i did was searched google images for pictures and i selected the option on the left that said larger then 1024x860(?) and the printed them at walmart. They aren't perfect but for 2-3 a print it was worth it. I covered my whole wall with red wings and team USA pictures

I know everyone keeps saying why trade propects and picks for Semin as a rental. Only thing being he really isn't a rental. If a deal would happen and he played up to par I would be pretty confident in Semin re-signing with the Wings. Yes, It is a risk that maybe he wont resign but if he does it will be at a lot cheaper rate then in free agency. The other thing I don't understand is a lot of fans here are saying they don't want Semin because he is a free agent next season but a couple weeks ago there were a lot of people complaining we didn't make a better deal then SJ did for Brent Burns. Who is in the same spot as Semin, a rental with a possibility of re-sigining here. I'm all for Semin in the right deal (I won't get into what I would trade and such because at the end of the day only Holland can call George McPhee and ask what he is looking for in a return) I think he will give us the Extra bunch on our offensive line and if we still could have a couple million depending who we trade (assuming Hudler, or Filppula would be traded) crash

He earned it and let white and Stuart make the 3/4 with Ericsson as the optional top 4 guy as holland has been saying. According to Holland we currently have 5 top 4 defenseman

I dont think we need a top 4 D... I want a winger with our cap space... It is Kronwall's time to get a bigger role with the Wings. He can take over as the number 2 defenseman with White and Stuart in the 3/4 slots. In stead of worrying about trying to replace Rafalski and Lidstrom we only have to replace 1. Kronwall can be a number 2 on our team and the added pressure of knowing he needs to play up to that level could push him. crash

I know a lot of people are looking at the points recluse with Rafslski. I'm just wondering of just maybe our D could end up possibly being better then this past season. I may be trying to be overly optimistic and I'm not trying to take anything from Rafalski but he was hurting and was lacking in the defensive department. Kronwall replaced him and hopefully embraces his new role and steps his game up. As for the bottom 5 I feel we have upgraded Salei and became a team who has the capabilities to be more of a shut down team with White and Commie. I'm hoping we can combine that with a new defensive coach and Howard plays like he did in the post season. With our forward situation being the sane and money for improvement maybe we are in a lot better position then some people think. Yes signing s guy like Wiz would have been nice but would solve our biggest downfall from last season. Which was keeping the puck out of our net, not putting it in there's...

I know it seems since we have 7 D that Yandle is out if the question buy Ericsson or Kindl could be part if a trade... You never know... To replace the D in their line up that they are losing...

Double post Why would we waive a guy that has played in the NHL and put up 40 + points in the past and had one bad year. Were not cap strapped and he is a UFA next season. That doesn't make sense. Im not a Hudler slappie but y just give him away. That is probably the last thing we should do with him.

Holland won't. He stated already that he is seeking a trade partner but he isn't just going to give him away. Especially with how our team is sitting right noe Include him in a trade to get Bogo, Yandle, or Green (caps won't take Hudler Soo get green and then just keep Hudler or find another partner)

Overpay for Yandle. Right now they have 24 million in cap space. Give then Filppula, Hudler, and picks and projects. Theis brings us handle, gives mursak a little bigger role and we can bring in a gagne or have the cap room to go after Richards if we really wanted to but rather Gagne and save room for next season...

I honestly don't wsnt to start guessing in lines yet because I Think Holland will still some Tires on D and I'm hoping we can pry Yandke out of Phx, but that will take someone like Franzen or Filppula. I don't want to deal franzen but you have to give a lot to get a lot and Yandle is worth a lot. One trade for a D man could give this team a huge shake up, do I count on it happening not really, buy Holland said he would consider trading to fill Rafalski's spot...

How much would it take to trade for Green he is practically another rafalski.... Give or take one way or the other. Filppula, Tatar?, picks? (I dont think aboit predicting trades much but i know you have to give to get some im assuming a first round pick) And then sign richards for 2nd line center... Sorry I'm just reaching for straws here. Hoping something happens besides in house signings...
