Puck was rolling everywhere... Not much you can do except rip it. -

I love Larkin! Haha but let him get a full year of pro hockey under him and help bring Mantha along -

Isn't it like football? You only lose your timeout if the call stands? -

Larkin is a beauty, I'm so torn on having him up or giving him a year to really work over the AHL and play with Mantha and really build his drive to make it next year... Him AA and Mantha are looking damn good -

I love the wheels Larkin has and the hands to go with it. -

Your welcome :-), I'm hoping we save our 3rd one for he Vet line up, as of right now both prospect line ups will get it. So hoping the last one guys like Z, goose, and Tatar get to see it and learn it a touch. This year will be crazy with it but I bet by next season teams find defensive systems to shut it down lol. It's going to be all about control. If you got to see the Carolina/Washington one, a missed shot wide caused a 3 on 1 the other way. It will be a lot about control and only giving up the puck when it's a legit scoring chance. Pretty much roller hockey in a sense. -

Every team is allowed 3 games to practice if. Chicago was 1, Pitt will be 2, not sure what game will be number 3. -

Lol, the Howard bashing mid season forward and I'm Not even the biggest Howard fan. First goal is a high stick, and the second was toews walking down the slot and no one near him? Lol -

This is pretty much standard protocol, skate your big guns at home to sell tickets, she's your kids on the road trips to test them against NHLers. -
signed Red Wings sign D Mike Green (3-years, $18-million)
Crashnburnluder replied to Dominator2005's topic in General
Green was always 25 when he played for the Bears in the AHL, I have a feeling he goes back to that. And also everyone saying Green is a bottom pairing dman, he averaged 19 minutes a game? That's a lot for a bottom 6. In comparison that puts him in the same realm and Big E, and quincey, and a higher average then the rest. Pretty obvious he is less then Kronwall. -
Signed Wings sign Brad Richards 1 yr, $3 million
Crashnburnluder replied to Wingzman91's topic in General
I think the Richards signing is as simple as this... The Less Z and Helm have to play down the middle, hopefully the healthier they stay. Helms speed down the wing and less wear on Z the better. Plus a 1 year contract takes the stress off Sheahan to be the only number 2 center we have and keeps Z and Pav together. I don't see the negative, if some one can point it out that would be appreciated. All I see is positive depth, more depth at center, and plenty of options on the PP. If it's true that Richards prefers the point on the PP, we went from a PP of: Kronwall and Weiss, kindl, dekeyser, and what ever else to Kronwall, green, Richards and smith/pulks/? YES PLEASE! -
Posting Twitter post Helene St. James @HeleneStJames 1m1 minute ago Turns out Stephen Weiss didn't need waivers b/c modified NTC. 25 mins before deadline, hearing good chance buyout happens. #RedWings Don't know if Helene St.James is the most reliable source but figured it was worth posting. Please change topic to possible

Shattenkirk's agent came out and said the rumor isn't true
-
I just think it kinda worked out nicely that right after the Semin news broke, the Weiss news began. Which opened up money that we didn't have plus a roster spot. I think it would revitalize him.
-
@AnsarKhanMLive: Weiss against cap: $1.066 million in each the next 2 seasons, $2.56 million in '17-18 and $1.67 million for each of the following 3 seasons.
-
I could have the wrong numbers, if anybody's has a reliable source for them, even though we should have it all over Twitter soon lol
-
The penalty for his buy out cap hit seems pretty reasonable. If what I read is correct its 1.06 the first 3 years and 1.6 the last 3. With all the youth entering our roster that will be easily managed.

Anybody know roughly when the hearing is and when we will have word of the disciplinary action?
-
Usually one net is used by the starting goal and they run different drills while the Back up gets the other net and believe they work stuff that they don't want their starter going through

3 point advantage games need to be eliminated
Crashnburnluder replied to TigerDan's topic in General
The problem with the "loser" point is simple. At some point teams are playing for the free point then trying to win the game. The loser point was added because of boring OT. They added the point and all it did was make teams buckle down and try to get to OT. Even in a 3 point system I'm not going all out for the extra point when I run the risk of not getting any points at all, simple as that. There should never be a time in a game where ur guaranteed everything. It should be to only play for the win, not to lose but still get something. -
Essentially get 2 and were locked, but if we get 1 in the next two games, ottawa has to win out to make it over us.
