It's amazing how many rebounds we give up and can't grab a guy haha, we are playing the worst hockey I have seen the wings play since I've been a fan.

Yea I feel like it was 3 games and then a game time decision and now just nothing...??

If Max Pac is our first round I wouldn't mind Montreal. Yes they have price but missing their leading goal scorer could be a huge boost.

Everyone is having a terrible month and our schedule is awful right now. A game every night means 0 rest plus back to backs sprinkled in. He is worn down, and sadly we pissed away our breathing room to rest him.

First off I think your confusing what I mean about tangent, I was talkng about the page or two of guys saying "you on me" and "no you pm me" lol As far as what I eas saying I agree that our goalies have been awful, but our team as awhile has been awful with keeping the puck out. I think if you look through all the stats it will all coincide with our lack off puck possession which has also stemmed from our terrible ability to win face offs during this stretch. Once again the goalies have been bad, but I think it's also becoming even more glaring because our team D has been terrible too.

I agree that our goalies haven't been good, I think I even said it. I just think on top of bad goaltending were hanging them out to dry as well. When you compile everything that's just a recipe for disaster (which is what has happened). There have been a lot of bad goals over this stretch but I think it's getting to the point that every goa scored against us now is a soft goal. Example I've seen Howard getting a lot of slack for last night for not coming up with the big save. To hang out a goalie, and have one of his first shots come as a Shorthanded breakaway is not helping out our goalie.

I love the tangents LGW goes on sometimes. I feel like I'm one of the few that realize both goalies are not playing up to snuff but I think it has more to do with being hung out to try and blowing their confidence. I honestly thing our goaltending problems come down to a much bigger problem of just buckling down and playing a good team game. An easy example was the 4-0 Tampa game. Detroit buckled down and didn't give them any grade a chances. Against the Isles tonight we gave up way to many good chances and a terrible PK. Yes not every goal was unstoppable but the team in front of him sure didn't help them out. Overall this isn't a 1 man problem, it's a team problem. If we lock it down and actually help our goalies out which our team has not been doing, they can start gaining their confidence back and start making the big saves when we need them.

Maybe if Detroit showed up we could have drawn some calls, the entire third was played in our end... There was nothing to call in the 3rd.

I am lost how fans are blaming this on just goaltending??? The team defense is a train wreck! The team, as a whole, not just goaltending so people need to stop pretending that it's just one player... It is a lot BIGGER of a problem because our whole team is playing like dog s***.

How many games have we given up 4+ goals now. It's nt just goaltending. No our goaltending has not been good but our team is playing like a tire fire in front of him. Do we have a PK any more, SHG on a break away... Strome scores on a clear shot that he gets his own rebound on with no one within 5 feet. Stop blaming our goalies, no they are far from helping the situation but this is absolutely a let down as a team over this stretch, this is not just the goaltending

I'm all for playing anybody that can win a face off, when we get destroyed in the dot, we usually get destroyed in the game. You can't play puck possession if you can't start with the puck...

If you read what I said earlier i said Howard needed to be pulled because he isn't helping anything and playing bad, but the team is playing just as bad defensively. I just hate people talking that mrazek is our savior when our goaltending hasn't been great but our team defense has been worse

As a Howard supporter I am, still think he needs pulled tonight and get his head straight but he is far from he only problem on this team right now... Once again, more giveaways, destroyed on face offs, our PP looks like garbage... Howard is helping the situation, but they sure aren't helping him either.

I think it's just a hockey thing, nicknames are always present. In college I don't think there was a guy on the team that was actually called by his real name.

Pulks knows how to score in the AHL now he has to make the translation to the NHL by playing in the NHL and he will get the chance to do that next year, just too many guys currently And then hopefully Mantha follows the year after that.

Sooooo glad that my hometown went viral, haha. I was a York devil and that was our home rink so it was hilarious seeing that all over.
