Look for one near the end of tonight's game in Columbus ;]

Alright, so I am not sure if this is in the right forum, so if it's not just move it to the appropriate place Anyways me and a few friends finally decided we're going to make the trip down to Columbus to catch the Wings on the road there on April 9. I've never been to a road game, so I really don't know what to expect. One thing we're really considering is bringing an octopus in and throwing it out there after the game because we are so close to the postseason. In last years playoffs I seem to remember some type of incident where a Columbus fan tackled a Wings fan as he was trying to throw the octopus haha Anyways, I was just wondering what to expect with the Jackets being out of the playoffs. And should we follow through with the octopus? And if you've ever been to Nationwide, your experiences and thoughts are welcome! Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the information guys! A couple of the guys I am going with heard good things about R Bar, so I think that's where we will wind up. And if we wind up throwing the octopus, we would do it at the end of the game, so if we did get tossed we wouldn't miss anything. I just have to convince my friend it's a good idea to sit through the whole game with it strapped to him haha

Wings played like they want this one in that first period! Now just keep it up for 40 more minutes! Also, I expected a lot more activity in this thread since we're playing the pens!

Woohoo, I just got some tickets on stubhub! 2nd game this year :] I hope the Joe isn't empty in the first period because the early start! I remember earlier in the year they had a 7:00 start and it looked like 5 people were there haha Go Wings! Big Game, Big Win!

I have a stupid question maybe someone here can answer. From my understanding teams like Switzerland, Norway and Belarus qualify for the Olympics through tournaments. If that's the case, how do teams like Canada, Russia, and the USA qualify if all their players are in the NHL and the team is not competing in tournaments? Are they just automatically in or something?

Why does NBC keep giving hockey the shaft?! Not only have all the games been on cnbc or USA so far, but they show anything possible instead of allowing us to see the beginning of a hockey game!

I don't understand why we brought up Lilja if he's not playing today and he could have gotten in an extra game in Grand Rapids! Also, do you think Flip would play tonight if the Olympics weren't around the corner? Anyways, go Wings, let's start the Olympic break on a positive note!

All season long, it looks like they are going to start to turn the corner, and then they blow it.
