WOW, I am ALMOST positive these were the same people we were behind a line for beer in during the first intermission. My gawd! I went with a good friend, and we only get to a couple of games/year anymore. We got in line for and these pansy-acting mid-twenties boys and girls were screaming in line in front of us, the one chick kept grabbing this guy and talking about getting away from "this stupid game" and getting stoned and then she would swing in a circle with her arms out, smacking other people in line in the face. I told her if it happened again she would have a twisted/sprained elbow (now, before the do-gooders get pissed about THAT, I have never hit/abused a woman...but, if a PERSON hits me, I will hit you back...I only gave this PERSON a second chance because of her femaleness...if you want to be equal, don't smack strangers and then hide behind the whole "femininity" gig.) She gave me the finger, but didn't do it to me again. Meanwhile, the line moved forwards and pansy-asses were playing together, so a bunch of guys in the NEXT LINE OVER cut in front of these idiots (who were too ripped to notice.) My buddy got pissed at all of them and we tried to go around them, then they got snippy. The guy kept randomly screaming "HOW LOW CAN YOU GO," followed by hilarious laughter by the whole group of retard stoners. As a result we missed the first couple of minutes of the second period. Not a doubt in my mind they were a group of spoiled rich-kids. Probably drove Daddy's Escalade to the game. Haven't come that close to slugging a female since college when I briefly dated a crazy chick who would get mad and hit me in the face (no, I didn't hit her back, but I grabbed her arm and wrenched the f&%k out of it) when she would get pissed about school or some other thing. Unfortunately, these are the same spoiled morons you encounter who stand on the coral while scuba diving, pass 300 cars trying to get off at an exit and then try to cut in at the last minute while giving YOU the finger, or smoke in non-smoking venues. They grow up to inherit Daddy's company, breed, and live in West Bloomfield, unfortunately.

On a separate thought, I wish there were a LOT more GoDaddy commercials!!!

Are you completely zoned out on LSD? IF ANYTHING, the videos showed CONCLUSIVELY that the puck did NOT go over the goal line...the shot from just inside the blue line to Jimmy's left was the best. THAT'S MY AMAZEMENT... given the rules, how could Toronto NOT overturn the goal, when the video described above showed the puck the entire time it was in the crease and that it NEVER completely crossed the line...not a matter of interpretation, not a matter of inconclusive...it didn't cross.

OH MY F#cking GOD!!!!! The ref in position can't be overturned by the videos, but the two god-damned refs over having pizza make the call. Does the ass-slamming ever god-damned end?@@!!!!!!!

I've tried to watch every game this season, but last night at the Wings/Carp game at the Joe I made a point of focusing on Bertuzzi and Lebda whenever they were on the ice. Bert works his ass off, is just barely missing on lots of goals and assists, and is a real asset given his price. Lebda, God bless him, got out-hustled frequently, made rookie decisions that resulted in turn-overs, and appeared to my non-NHL coaches' eyes to be out of position quite often. He really needs to go...I know there's been Maltby/Ericcson/Meech haters on here before, but Lebda is the biggest disappointment so far this season and Bert has been the biggest positive surprise (IMHO.) I was curious if other fans are seeing the same thing. P.S. Ericcson needs to not fall down.

Can't trust their goalies? Yeah, they've had some weak play, but there's been a lot of "LOOK OUT" defense played in our own zone, as in, "LOOK OUT JIMMY, I TURNED THE PUCK OVER AGAIN FIVE FEET IN FRONT OF THE GOAL!" Having watched almost every minute, it appears the goalies can't trust the D, not vise-versa!

Bertuzzi appears to me to be working much harder every shift than he has in the past few years...much harder than some players making much more $$$ on the Wings right now. He's had many close breaks goal-wise. Kind of like Lilja. Lilja got ragged on frequently in this forum, but every game I went to or watched it appeared he busted balls every shift. Both lack the talent of top players (I think this is a long-term injury problem for Bert...his base-line best playing ability is behind him) but you can't ask more than their best.

I had several good acquaintances of mine try to set up vineyard/winery operations in Russia a few years ago. First, every person at every level of every governmental or quasi-govermental organization they encountered required bribes every time they were encountered. Secondly, every contract they made with Russians was in no way ever honored, only used as a blueprint to extort a better next-generation contract, ad infinitum. Business contracts and property rights were in no way enforced or respected, only used to extort more bribes and ever more contracts favorable to the Russkies. Equipment and labor purchases were not provided as they were held up by individuals requiring bribes before passed on to other individuals requiring bribes. After several dedicated years of trying to legally set up vineyards/wineries (Russia has the potential for some excellent, world-class wine production, all of which is unrealized) they abandoned the project several hundreds of thousands of dollars poorer and with a substantial distaste for all things Russian. My impression as an observer was that the Russians have no historical will to engage in legitimate business, and any money sent or spent there is advancing the cause of Soviet corruption. Good luck playing hockey for a living there...

That stinks. Even beyond hockey, you can get by with a sore arm or knee, but headaches just ruin so many aspects of regular life. I hope this gets corrected for Andreas' sake. He's a good man and deserves better.

No, now what YOU need to see is that Wings fans don't really care about your team enough to hate them any more. This is funny because what YOU perceive to be this enormous, vicious rivalry is no longer a big deal to US. It's kind of funny AND pathetic at the same time!
