OK Batman, riddle me this... Hasek stays in goal...Gaborik comes straight at him on the breakaway, full-throttle and head-on. With puck on tip of stick, Gaborik shoves it through Hasek's 5-hole as Hasek is realizing he needs to protect himself from 200# missile. Puck crosses line into net=GOAL for Minnesota. .01 seconds later, Gaborik's momentum carries him through Hasek, net, Zamboni door, beer vendor, and parking lot with Hasek looking like roadkill. No penalty, right? In this scenario would everyone make the same yap that the game was basically over, Gaborik shouldn't gone to the net so aggressively, dirty play. blah, blah, yada, yada, yada?

Agreed. I have watched every game either at the Joe or on TV and this is one of the most exciting teams to watch in the Wings history, bar none. Which begs the questions: -Why don't more people go to the games? -Why would we add somebody like Forsburgmonkey when people on this forum have been complaining for years about a need for a youth movement? This team is deep, a great mix of young/old, and resilient. I wouldn't mess with the chemistry for anything! -Why would we start Hasek if he comes back?

If not worst, then a missed opportunity... NOT hiring some guy with a name like "Franky the Widowmaker" or "Tony Knuckles" to get hold of the guy that drove the limo after that horrible, awful accident in 1997 (before the police could get hold of him) and gut him like a small, insignificant fish.

Picked up a Zetterberg and Datsyuk for $59/each! Again, if this is considered spam, I do not intend to be some kind of endorser for Dick's, but I called all of my Wing friends here and they all bought jerseys as this is about as cheap as I've seen for non-retired players. Just kind of thought my fellow Wings fans would appreciate the heads up.
