Strangely, with a knee brace, hockey is one of the VERY few professional sports where your knees can be completely destroyed and you can still play at a high level. Need excellent ankles, though.

Kindl is a good example of something useful that came out of all of the injuries. You can see he is playing more comfortably (he actually smiles sometimes) and obviously his level of stupid-ass rookie mistakes decreases as he gets more playing time. Ericsson, on the other hand...

Whether the Wings win, lose, or tie tonight, if they would play like this every night, I would be extraordinarily happy. They're playing with intensity. I hope this is a vision for the rest of the season.
