I think we got the conspiracy theory thing on these boards as well. If NBA refs can be bought, I say the NHL might make some decisions as far as reffing that can be viewed as fixing (aka not calling the game like it should be) for financial reasons (as an example). However, the Canucks played like crap. After the kicking goal was called back why couldn't the Sedin line get back on the ice and put a legit one in? I thought they were supposed to be really good. Their D sucked last night and they barely won in regulation (thanks to a Sedin goal). LA is not a team that scares me and we knew the Wings had a pretty good shot at beating them if we played them because 'Couver's defense is not in pristine shape (far from it at times). It's their own damn fault they lost. A ref can blow a call and maybe a game because of it, but they can't fix the entire series.

I thought after winning game 2 that Howard would settle down and be more confident. He is not. He is shaky, and half the time does not know where the puck is and the other half he is out of position. The rest of the Wings can play like s***, but he has to stop letting in goals like he does and when he does. He needed to step it up and he could not. I know he is feeling like s*** today, but we have to win. Had he not let in that 4th one in I think the Wings would have come back and won the game. I am tired of the defense hung him out to dry remarks. He should have made saves all series long that he did not. Just because our defense f***ed up here and there doesn't make it ok for him to let a goal in. In the playoffs its his role to step it up and make a big save to keep his boys in it. THIS

He is not giving us a chance to win, especially after he let in #4 today. I say we give Osgood a shot, as bad as he has played I don't think we win games when Jimmy lets in 4 a game.

The Yotes are pretty rough because they love to have traffic all around the net and crash it. Jimmy looked a little shaky but he held up, I think with a win he has some confidence which he can build off of. My hope is that he will play better. Way to go on your first win!

The Wings came up big when they needed to. Rough first period but the 2nd and 3rd we brought it to them and at points played fantastic defense.

So I got a Zetterberg jersey for and early Christmas gift the day I went to see the Wings at the Joe (beat the Kings 5-2 in 2007). Ever since then I only wore the jersey when I felt the Wings needed good luck and it totally worked until Game 7 last year. I have worn it a couple times this season and it has only worked once. I'm staring at it now, debating do I wear it or not? I fear that if I wear it I will jinx them. Does anyone have suggestions how to win back The Hockey Gods so I can wear my jersey without fear?

PK was stunk to high heaven. I felt Jimmy let in a softie, but he did make some nice stops. The Wings started off strong but just got worse and worse as the game went on. If we got to a 2-0 lead I think it would have changed the pace more. Why the f*** is Williams on our PP? Just a note, Phoenix can't beat us if we play solid defense. We have to play with a lead and have a PK that won't let beach balls in the net. And of course, here is the cliche comment of the night: I think we should mix our lines up. I think Bert-Filp-Franzen would be a good line. Notice what I did there? That means ZDH gets reformed.
