I still root for Shanny.... hes always been good. As for a return Im not wishing for it... I think it was good that he left in a way that it allowed the Wings to pave a new future and direction, but he is always missed.

Let me ask everyone this..... what is up with Pierre and Co. saying the "Preds show too much respect for the Wings" Is this some polite way of saying the Preds suck? Seriously I see excuses coming from Trotz and these guys.... And respect? more of too much of a lack of respect, these guys dont like each other and make it clearly known. Bottom line, after tonights game I can feel the Wings have the advantage (along with a 2-0 series lead) and if we capitalize we can win game 3, go up 3-0, and finish it in 5 back in Detroit worst case scenario. My dad taught me this when I was little..... Excuses are for losers. Winners don't make excuses, they find a way to make it work. And its obvious after that nice timeout, Detroit got it to work and Nashville is still making excuses....if the Preds keep that mentality this series is over, its just how many games can the Pred fans count before they see Tootoo 3 over par on the golf course.

I was chanting Kipper last year while i watched them on TV.... it was good because my friend who lived next door was rooting for Calgary...just to piss me off... when the Wings scored a goal...the entire dorm knew it. And when the Flames scored...the dorm knew it.... what can I say...Im just that intense.

Wow, 5-2 Dallas and they take a pivotal 2-0 series lead going home....Im impressed... Turco has really stepped it up, coming out of the net to play the puck and but the ducks back on defense is probably taking away some good chances...Last year the only team to beat the Ducks twice were the Red Wings, but we lost tho... It's the curse i swear... man I sure as heck hope the Ducks pick it up... I want them to play the Sharks (which means Colorado beats Minni) sooo bad.

yeah...Splitting Z and Dats will throw a monkey wrench in Trotz plans. Now that Franzen has shown us he can do the dirty work two, plus homer back just being all over the place, Babcock has a lot of options open to him.... I expect that he would make a couple of line changes just so he can out-couch Trotz and win at least 1 in Nashville. Oh yeah, and perhaps changing PP unit? dunno maybe make a small change and see if that can get it working for us... we really need PP goals, especially when we are on the road.

True, but that's what happens in playoff hockey....need I remind everyone of the "kick-in" goal by the Oilers in 06 that eliminated us? We have had our share of bad calls towards us, its actually exciting that we've had two big ones go our way, but it is what it is. I know it sucks, we've been on the short end of the stick several times and visa-versa. This is all just the price of doing business.

Eh, hes ok. I still cant believe after having the best season in his career EVER, in Detroit nonetheless, he sh*t the bed in the playoffs and man what a let down, not that I am trying to bring up that playoff run, but man what a let down after I thought he might have the goods to take us somewhere. He looks good announcing, has a lot of potential, just like he did as a goaltender... Im happy the Blues took him and we got Osgood, what a good trade. Speaking of Osgood, I love how sometimes he will be interviewed during the game by FSN Detroit, I loved him with his little stats clipboard while he was suited up. I hope we win the Cup this year so he can get his name on it again, he's been a blessing for us while we have to work with Dom and perhaps next year with Howard.

at least one of them stuck up for Z.... I'll stick up and say Turco did great, coming out of the net to play the puck also helped shut down quite a few offensive opportunities for the Ducks, so at least Hasek isnt alone anymore when it comes to playing the puck (thank god)

Glad the Sharks shutout the Flames, let me tell you how upset I would be if they lost both at home and went to Calgary for 2 games. How 'bout them Stars?
