OH. MY. ZETTERBERG....... Not only was he super clutch, he almost got one in the expiring seconds of the 3rd (off the post). What makes me really sad is that Jimmy played outstanding and gave us a real chance to win it. And we blew it, like professionals. There better be some changes in our lineup come Game 6 (but there won't be any). -

Stupid call, where the hell are the Wings? -
I have ful confidence that Vancouver would have lost this series, as they were not the better team. The Nucks did get a taste of their own medicine and collapsed in a horrible fashion, which I think it was about time it happened. That, however, should serve as no excuse for how bad the officiating was. I am not saying every call was made up, but there were some completely rotten calls made. If a team is going to lose, let them lose.

I watched the penalty again today. You can clearly see the ref right next to Sedin and Wingles not raise his arm or call anything after the hit. After Wingles is down the ref FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ICE makes a call. How the hell can this go on?

What a huge win for this team. Wow. Just wow. Look at how all the Wings players celebrated. This was a must win game for us and what a battle to win it. Oh man. I hope this spells a big momentum shift in our favor. -
I said it before and I will say it again, I am glad at least 2 teams facing each other remember how to play playoff hockey. This is by far the best series so far and brings back memories of the Pit-Philly series last year. I hope Ottawa wins.

I never liked the idea of relying on special teams to win games, even though it does happen. Our PK should be as best as it can be but I feel our 5 on 5 play needs to get the job done tonight.

Tootoo not being in the lineup is a bad move, I think. While playing solid defense and having strong skating helps, we need to be physical to really dominate the Ducks and help shift the momentum back in our favor. -
I sure as hell am glad that two teams remember how to play playoff hockey.
