Didn't someone do something similar with Toews a couple years ago? How did that turn out? Exactly. Balls.

There were a bit of glaring "missed" calls against the Hawks that I saw in Game 6, more than I felt were against Vancouver. The penalty shot was legit. Lets face it, Canucks blew a 3-0 series lead and reffing could have played a minor role in 1 game. 1 game out of the last 3. I can't give Canucks fans a shoulder to cry on. They outplayed the Hawks in Game 6 but weren't good enough to finish. Thats who wins Cups, teams who can finish. Bet you guys wish you played Dallas.

Tie game. LA not giving up easy

Stamkos should show up in Game 7 and show the Pens up big time.

Bettman strikes again... Like lightning... (pun intended) Elbow wasnt up, didnt make direct (full) head contact. I guess hockey is turning into kittens and flowers.

Positive Signs for The Wings in These Playoffs
RedLightGoesOn replied to Mabuhay Red Wings's topic in General
The Coyotes weren't a joke of a team and Detroit looked fearsome against them. There aren't any glaring problems that the Wings showed in that series. Our depth flexed its muscles when missing Z and Mule (for a game and such). Our defense looks pretty solid too and Jimmy looks confident enough to play solid. The Sharks have some good offensive depth on paper, but thats just it. They seem to have some serious defensive issues against a LA team that is missing their best player by a wide margin. Against our depth I think the Wings could make short work of the Sharks. The Canucks seem soft right now and don't look unbeatable by a long shot. But I think they would put up more of a fight than the Sharks. The Preds are the Preds. They can play tough and physical but I don't foresee them beating the Wings (even with Rinne), especially after that 3-0 comeback win in OT. The Hawks I don't see going anywhere (if they beat Vancouver). The Kings cannot play defense and rely on Quick to stop 45+ shots to win. You can't rely on that every night and expect to go places. If the trends continue the Wings can come out of the West. They can beat every team right now, but the Sharks and Canucks will put up more of a fight than other teams. -
Would really like to see Buffalo win this one and put Philly out of their misery.

Also it might lead to less travel for us, which is always great.

Bahahaha hes on the bench.

Hank and Datsyuk won't be on the same line too much IMO. It would be really sick and I think it would be a good line but Babcock can split them up for their defensive abilities to cover 2 lines. The Hudler-Filppula-Franzen line is the one where you can say they might be able to play solid defense, hence why you move on up to play with Pavel and Hank moves down to provide the defensive coverage. 4 on 4 is where you put the Euro twins out there. That is maximizing our depth both ways. Also, subbing out Draper for Modano would be nice.

Vanek between the legs of him and Leighton! God they love to lay on the goal horn in Buffalo.

Penalty festival for Easter.

Pronger is back in, as expected. Too little too late?

LA looks like they can hang on to it, but thats what I thought in Game 3.

How would that be any different from what we have seen so far?
