New Jersey and Chicago just played 65 minutes of hockey with no penalty minuets. That's right zero. By the way, Chicago scored with less than 30 seconds left to tie it and just won in a shootout

Actually, technically we could catch Chicago.... More realistic however, is catching 4th. The Coyotes have cooled off as of late and have 100 points in 78 games. We have 95 in 77 games. Phoenix has Edmonton, Nashville, @Los Angeles, @San Jose. Detroit has Nashville, @Philadelphia, Columbus, @Columbus, @Chicago We still have a chance at 4th, it'll be tough but feasible.

If the Wings win tonight, they will be ahead of L.A. anyways. Either way, the Wings have to take care of business tonight. If Nashville wins and Detroit wins they'll be 3 up with 2 games in hand. If Nashville wins and Detroit loses they'll be up 5 with 2 in hand -- not insurmountable, but not a good situation.
