Exactly my thoughts, very well put.

He would've had to clear waivers to go to Grand Rapids, and there is no way he'd of cleared. Give him some time, he is making mistakes but he doesn't suck.

Whatever happened to Miller Brew?
-
It was probably sometime early Friday morning, I don't think it's that big of a deal.

I've been superstitious of opening the GDT for a year or two now, hasn't worked out this year, so I decided to post in it. If we win tonight, I'll post in it every game for the rest of the season. :siren: Big game Wings, Lets get one in regulation :siren:

Has anyone noticed the title of the video is "Detroit Red Wings Johan Franzen & Daniel Cleary Play Fight in front of LA nightclub 2-5-10"?

Brendan Burke, son of Brian Burke, killed in auto accident

My condolences to the Burke family and all who knew Brendan. Rest in peace. Edit: And to the other family, as well. -
Sergei Kolosov will play for Belarus. Pretty neat that a Griffin gets to play in the Olympics.
-
Off the top of my head, they finished 4th in the 02 games, right? Edit: Looked it up, yes they did.

I'm torn. I like Peyton, but the Saints are a good story. I still haven't decided who I want to win.

With an attitude like that you should get nothing. Anyways, thanks for the wallpaper, Matt

I remember Ken Daniels talking about it on a Wings broadcast, hopefully someone else remembers as well.
-
Please tell me you are being sarcastic, otherwise, that's completely ridiculous.

I agree, and I had seen that article, there are definitely risks involved. Usually, Holland isn't much of a risk taker either, but I wouldn't throw away all chances that he may pull the trigger on this one.

I was about to post a similar comment to this, before I read your post. I don't see how he would strictly be a 'rental' player if Filpulla and Kronwall are moved in exchange for him. Even if Filpulla was moved he could be signed in the off-season with breathing room under the cap (provided Lidstrom takes a marginal pay cut). As long as Kovalchuk would be back next year, I would have no problem giving up Filpulla and Kronwall, plus a prospect/pick.

That's correct, Ken Daniels probably confused a few people tonight. March 3rd, at 3est is the NHL Trade Deadline. More fun than Christmas (at least it used to be).
-
I don't see where Meech is better than Lebda. At least Lebda brings speed, Meech brings... well not much of anything, really. He can play forward but hasn't at all this year, and there is no need.
-
I doubt Kronwall is "untouchable". He was almost swapped for Brian Campbell 2 years ago at the deadline, but Holland asked for Stafford to be included and he was denied. Doesn't seem untouchable to me. Anyways, good luck to Lilja tonight.

Appears that way. I'm just hoping they don't deal him anywhere in the West. Let an Eastern Conference team send a surplus of assets and then have him walk come July.
-
That's awesome. Seriously though, I do wonder what he is up to.
-
I should have thought about that before I voted, he has been outstanding though.
-
2 of 'em actually. One with handwritten game times on it because the calanders don't come with game days marked like they used to . The person below me is excited for Lost to be on tonight.

So only letting him practice is going to get him back to game speed? He's been practicing for a while now, I fail to see how making him the 7th defenseman will get him back to full speed.
