It was an impressive showing Saturday in Ottawa. I was lost when they originally started making a bunch of noise (at the 15:15 mark IIRC) until the broadcast crew mentioned what was going on.

I do agree that the end was better. When I posted it was during the beginning with all the props and the goalies weren't making any kind of effort. Just seems petty to me. -

Lidstrom and Pavel were suspended because it was required that they missed either (or both) of the games before or after the ASG. Toews will miss one, so no.

Howard having as good of regular season as this past years playoffs. Filpulla putting up 65 points. Hudler having a good regular season and then walking away as a UFA next offseason. I guess that last one is more of a prediction.

This. Current contract is too expensive for a guy who hasn't blossumed much in Minnesota... Not that it means he's a total bust.
