Kindl and lashoff need to go, andersson, and trade 2 of helm, sheahan, tatar, nyquist, jurco and one of ferraro and callahan. If marchenko sproul and oulette arent good enough to play, when and if will they play.

Love alfie, but what we need is mantha to be the next hossa kane crosby hybrid. Team cant score since hossa, cant defend since lidstrom. Buffalo sucks and theyre trying to lose games. Detroit (under our expectations) sucks and the wings are trying to win games. One team wants the best prospect in the draft. One team wants to continue a playoff streak while wasting the rest of the careers of the 2 best players in the foreseeable future.

Regardless, there needs to be a trade for a top line winger. Datsyuk and zetterberg need to stay split, datsyuk needs a big time winger. Three years later, still no top 6 winger or top 4 dman. Nows the time, if ever so far.

Nyquist lit up the league from the time he was called up until datsyuk came back towards the end of the year. I dont think that was the best comparison lol.

Line combos suck, and never kept to build chemistry. Maybe thats why the pp sucks. Being a 15 year hockey player, and defensemen.... i ve always hated when coach puts a forward on d for the pp. Want more scoring from the d? Use smith properly, Ditch kindl lashoff and ericsson, bring up oulette and Sproul and acquire cheap meaty dman to clear up the front of the net and block shots. Im not a fan of nestrasil, or miller for that matter. Swap them for weiss and callahan (seems more servicable then nestrasil) who am i, just a spectator though 😢

This. The only thing i can think of. Thats what the wings seem to do. Like jon ericsson getting drafted as a forward, or fedorov playing defense, or even someone like robert lang who went from top scorer in the league, came here and was put in a plymaker role. Was it maltby or mccarty who scored 50 goals in juniors came up to the wings and was used as a grinder.

This team has no finish, to much working from the outside. The wingers are too soft and are probably playing "not to lose a job".... you know how that goes. Its a shame how much potential the skeleton of this team has, and its being used to maintain some essentially meaningless playoff streak. The nhl is really evolving into an every game is the same league. Kind of boring.

Wayy too many open seats. Jimmy was our best player. The team is so close, we need some push and shove wingers in our bottom 6. Softness always shows when it matters most.

Glendy is the only one who shows heart. He plays like abby should. Howard saved them until the usual shootout loss. Too much line juggling, no matter the combos they got manhandled 5 on 5. Nobody can push anyone off the puck, win the small corner battles or get space in the slot. The bruins also won every net front battle at both ends.
