I would not mind if Detroit paid Guerin here for 2mill a year, mayeb a two year deal see how he works out.

I want a 2nd line winger and someone to replcae Lang all while finding the room to sign Hasek back.

1.) Sign Hasek (no brainer). 2.) The way I see it sp far is that we need to get a 2nd line scorer/winger and someone to replace what Lang brought to the team. I wouldn't mind seeing Yashin come here for a 1 year deal discount with bonus incenitives, he would not have to worry about being the #1 guy on the team here in Detroit like he was with the NYI. I would like to see Bill Guerin sign to a 2 year deal for a good deal., he is a decent sized forward and would fit in with the guys on our team. Those are my ideal replacements through UFA unless we go for others by a trade. 3.) Try to sign Peter Forsberg Lindros might be a good fit but I dont want to see him get injured here. Kozlov would be a nice fit if we can not get Guerin to a deal. If we have to get a depth D-man maybe we can get Markov when the market goes down llike last year when we got him last year in July. It would be nice to have him back on the team if we have enough cap space to do so.

Hasek? Bertuzzi? Smyth? maybe even Peter Forsberg? Think of all the remaining free agents that are still out there and who the Red Wigns might sign or have a shot at getting any player. Post in this thread if you have heard any rumors about players going anywhere. Like Forsberg, Smyth, Kariya. Where will they go?

Forsberg is a great player. He is by far a better player than Bertuzzi and alot of you wanted Bert back. Bertuzzi is just as or mroe of a liability than Forsberg is IMO. He would fit right in with Lidstrom and Z... hell he could even make old Sammy better!!! Oh and I saw TOOL in Birmingham... They kicked so much ass!! I have never been more high, drunk, and tripping more than I did on that night. I am surprised I am still alive lol. You just get into their music man it is crazy. They are by far one of the best live bands, they sound better in person. The most underrated band of our generation, and one of the best of all time IMO.

OMG worst news of the day.... Oh well, it is not the end of the world. His back isn't even %100 i bet. Back injuries tend to come back on players who have had them before and Bert has had major surgery on his back which is not exactly a good thing for a athlete to have.
