Losing Game 5 hrut really bad, but we can win 2 games in a row. If we can get our power play going, then no one in this league can stop us.

The Anaheim Ducks organization is starting to show its true colors. They alow whatever it takes to win necessary, even if it means hurting the other teams players or using a illegal stick. That is just plain classless and sad to see not only a hockey player like Pronger, but a Hockey Organization of the NHL like the Ducks say that these type of plays/illegal blows to the head and intent to injure are just a "part of the game" or he wasn't hurt on the play so he shouldn't be suspended or fined. That is just plain bulls***. Oh and even team Captain shows his true colors. Scott Niedermayer said: "I mean, my brother got the penalty. They're talking to Chris now. Anybody else they want to bring in? Maybe they should talk to Holmstrom, as well. You know, I don't know. I don't know what they're doing," he said. So, he is either saying that Holmstrom should also be suspended for facing the boards like that and causing such a bad image on Chris Pronger or he is saying that the suspension should be on his brother and not Pronger. What a dumb comment to make, especially the video evidence of the play shown all over ESPN and TSN and VERSUS., showing Holmstrom's head being smashed into the glass, and then he lays on the ice with blood coming out of his forehead. Even when our head coach Mike Babcock was asked about the hit he said: "Everybody saw it. He's got cuts, he's got 13 stitches. It's not like it's a booboo we're talking about," Detroit coach Mike Babcock said. Congratulations Anaheim, your reputation is really starting to show!

Correction, Pronger has always been a hackjob. The NHL just didn't want to do something to one of their posterboy.

He got what he deserved! Wings need to come out and take advantage of Game 4 with him being out of the lineup. WINGS IN 5!!!!!

Chris Pronger needs to be suspended at lest a game if not 2 games for that intent to injure hit. The NHL needs to do something about thugs like him.

How dare you compare Chris "piece of s***" Pronger to Nicklas LIdstrom!!!! Do you even know what kind of reputation Pronger has in the NHL? You must be blind as a damn bat to not see that hit was a INTENT TO INJURE hit. He wwent after Holmstrom becasue he was scoring at will against the Ducks so he got mad and tried to take him out of the game/series, I am just glad he is ok and not hurt. Pronger deserves at least a game for this hit.

Great job by Babs for fixing the lines, they looked great out there. I am glad that Holmstrom is ok, he is the MAN!!! And as always Lidstrom played great and Hasek was awesome out there, if he keeps this up there is no way we lose to a team named the "Ducks". LETS GO WINGS!!!!!!! Kill em in Game 4 too please!!!

Pronger is the biggest piece of s*** hockey player I have seen in a long time, I still remember when he tried to take out Yzerman in 2002, but he tore his ACL for it so maybe he will get suspended 2 games for thsi bulls*** hockey play.

Bertuzzi has not shown me anything, I would take him back at a lesser pay rate next season, but the way he has been playing I say we let him go.

Hey Getzlaf15..... you posted this in the Pronger forum. "If not for Francois Beauchemin putting 2 goals past Jiggy, you wouldve lost both games at home." I thought you said I do not believe in "Ifs", then what are you saying here? You are a hypocrite.

Why? We were down 2-1 to the "ALL MIGHTY AND YOUNG SHARKS" team and we won that series 4-2. I will not be worried if the Wings lose Game 3 or even 4 for that matter. We are a very talented hockey club with so much heart and determination to win the cup it makes me want to play with those guys . I am a Red Wings fan till I die, I will support them even if we were down 3-0 in a series, I will still be %100 behind my Wings to win it all.

It coulda, woulda, shoulda been the nail in the coffin but it hit the post, not the back of the net . The so called "lucky bounces" didn't go our way in this game like they did in Game 1. We will see how the bounces go in games 3 and 4, with a new sheet of ice and a hostile crowd, I am confident that the Wings will bounce back in Game 3.

We do not need him unless we have injuries.

The NHL does not suck, the refs did not suck in this game, we had a bad bounce go our way, that is all. So what if Niedermayer pushed Hasek in the goal and the goal counted, the goal was counted and there is nothing anyone can do about it except whine and ***** to the refs/NHL/Bettman about how that 3rd Ducks goal should not have counted. The Wings had plenty of opportunites to put the game away and they didn't. Wings were outplayed in every area of the game except special teams, mainly 5-on-5 and this really showed in OT. It is time to regroup and practice harder heading into Game 3 Tuesday.

The only way he plays is if one of our D guys gets hurt again, and even then I dont think that he will game ready to play, he needs to sit out the rest of the season.

Z would be my 4th guy, then Chelios my 5th, but I was just going by the 2 guys who had something to prove to their critics and Lidstrom who has nothing to prove but still continues to astonish me with his mistake free plays and the Leadership he brings to the table with Yzerman gone.

I am going to go ahead and say it and here it is..... Todd Bertuzzi will have a hattrick, Nicklas Lidstrom will have a goal and a few assists, and Dominik Hasek will stop around 25-27 shots and shuts them out. Wings win in dominating fashion. Ducks: 0 Red Wings: 4 (Bertuzzi 3, Lidstrom) LETS GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!! PUNISH THEM!!!!

All of these guys are so important to this team, but I would say Hasek has saved us alot more than anyone else on this team besides Lidstrom, so I say right now its Hasek, but if Nick contiues to play like Nick then it is his. 1. Hasek 2. Lidstrom 3. Datsyuk
