My girlfriend is a Sharks fan, and I hate the Predators with a passion, so I hope that they sweep them. I hope we dont face San Jose next round though. I can't imagine how much she would ride my ass if we lost to the Sharks in a series if we play them. Here is to the Sharks though.

My pick is Red Wings in 6. Hasek will steal at least 2 games. Bertuzzi and Holmstrom will dominate Kipper. Datsyuk lives up to his contract and Lang will be steller. Z gets at least a point in every game,

He was a great player, one of the best to play the game and he still is. The reason we boo him is how he left Detroit, he broke the hearts of all our fans, especially when he went to the Ducks of all places who swept us the previous year in the playoffs . Anyways he gets alot of respect from our fans, but the way I see the booing is our show of disrespect towards him as we think he disrespected us when he left the team and organization. He really doesn't deserve it because he was such a big part of our 3 cups, but it is a "What have you done for me lately?" type of world today and he hasn't done anything for us so the fans boo him. I personally would love to bring him back and pair him up with anyone on offense or D. I think with his God given ability he can play another 10 years on Defense, just like Chelios is doing. He can thank Scotty Bowman for that.

I agree with you guys, I would much rather have Lord Stanley than a President Trophy anyday. But how many teams can say they have won the Presiden'ts trophy? and if so how many times have they won it? I am just amazed at hwo Detroit never has a down season, they always make the playoffs, and they are always one of the elite teams in the NHL but never show it come playoff time. I am itching for a cup like crazy, it has been 5 years......

I got my ways.... but most likely they will play on the 11th. The way I feel about Detroit finsihing 1st again and possibly another presidents trophy is awesome!!!! It shows our superior dominance of the NHL for the past 10+ years. It is an amazing accomplishment in my book.

lol hell yeah!!!! I also enjoy Tivo, so I can record almsot every playoff game that is shown.

Wow Hasek made one mistake in the game, he dove and cost us a goal, big whoop. Last time I checked he only let 2 goals in the game and we took 5 penalties. And I am pretty sure its hard to win a game when your team only scores one goal for you, and takes alot of penalties and what not.
