LOL since when...

Look at the montreal-philly game times compared to ours... like come on, they get all 7pm start times lucky them.

In the last 2 games they weren't utilizing Datysuk nearly as much as they should to create the space and plays, this is what the problem was. Zetterberg is not Datsyuk! so i'm not sure why he was trying to do everything himself when Dats is right there to do the job for him - and it makes even more sense if Zetterberg is playing injured. Or maybe Babcock told Zett's to start getting creative on his own to take some of the pressure off Dats - thinking maybe after 4 games Trotz might actually realize that Datsyuk is always the one bringing it into the zone, slowing things down and doing things that most players couldn't even dream of doing. It does make sense because by end of every series Dats always has 2 guys lurking on him at all times.

Calgary's had some secondary scoring issues and it would be nice for the Sharks to be out as early as possible - so I'll go with wanting the Flames to win... although peppering Theodore with 40-50 shots a game would probably work out quite well for us.

I wonder if he'll ever forget this moment though ? lol

last year all the Red Wing playoff games were on regular cable TV in Ontario except for one game in the first round that I needed my center ice for. I just checked again and it looks like CBC and TSN are each carrying 3 Red Wings game from the first round this year so I won't be missing anything

it's the same thing McGuire's been saying since he watched a couple bad games this year that the Wings lost on TSN... he's been downtalking them ever since... maybe if he watched more then just 3 games this season I would care about what he's sayin - and since i havent missed a game for 2 years, I could really care less what he thinks about us.

Hudler was responsible for that one goal because he got scared and lost the puck. Everyone is saying he played well and that's because of his first few shifts. It's tru - I watched the same thing, go back and watch the start of the game, Hudler was playing well - takeaways and all !

Yea I thought I saw that too - right at the end there. After he got hit it looked like he waived his arm in pain right before it switched over to Ozzie. I forgot about that only because I was laughing at how Zetterberg brushed off Kopecky when they were waiting in line at the end (as the stars of the game). Z was talking to someone and Kopecky kinda grabbed Z from behind and said something, and Zetterberg shrugged him off like 'Why are you touching me'. Funny stuff

If Franzen gets more minutes and spends time in homers PP spot - that is not secondary scoring, neither is Hudler scoring for the first time in 22 games. It's good but LOL it's not secondary scoring.

^He's Canadian so i'm guessing that stems from watching too much TSN. TSN thinks our goaltending is weak but they neglect to realize goaltending is not an issue in DET when Lidstrom is on the ICE for half a game..... But since he's out right now appartently we have major goaltending issues... lol

Holland did good I think, I wish we could have used that higher pick for Prospal instead but since our D-men are hurting I can understand this move. You guys can all be worried if you want but you shouldn't be, it wasnt much more than 3 weeks ago I heard almost every sportscaster saying that we don't even need to make a move, But now only because were in a supreme slump with an injured group we suddenly need to make serious moves. Please. NEWSFLASH people. Pretty much everyone that is hurt will be ready to go come playoff time and when our team is not injured we are pretty much unstoppable. Believe in the system.

I live in Canada and almost every playoff Wings game was on regular cable last year, all except for one game in the first round. So that was the only game i really needed Centre ice for, I don't know how american cable works so yea.....
