i would love for him to play, however we're in the playoffs so save him for that. The way the standings are looking we could play 4 teams right now being the 4th seed or 1st. Bert let him play for the game he said he would like to play which is saturday against his nucks

I don't think we have a franzen thread on here but i'd just like to say how impressed I am with his play over the past month. He's really digging in the corners and making all the right plays. He's been giving 100% lately and I hope we pair him with Bertuzzi when he comes back because I can see an automatic spark with those 2 on the same line. He's becoming one of my favorite players as of late. I like how he's on first line and is getting all this powerplay time. He deserves it!

it's time for dom to return and sammy. I think we should go with ozzie, because it's the kings and maybe rest DOM for possibly sunday vs. bruins, or even hold him out for next weeks 2 games with Nash.

ARIZONA REPUBLIC: David Vest reports Phoenix Coyotes forward Owen Nolan could've been dealt to the Detroit Red Wings yesterday but turned the deal down. He doesn't have a no trade clause but the Coyotes asked his approval anyway. Spector's Note: As TSN's Darren Pang observed yesterday, Nolan's wife is pregnant and neither he or the team wanted any undue stress on his family. The Wings obviously made an offer and the Coyotes out of courtesy asked Nolan if he was interested.
